I was one of those who jumped on the watercooling bandwagon, back then it was much more fun, you have to know how to pair your waterblocks, cooling coils from junk shops, enheim pumps and so on, also back then we used those liquid meant for acquariums

Mine has got algae after a few years
Then i left the hardware fetish hobby, but maintaining an ok speced and reasonbly clocked pc, 2.4 to 3.06 ghz

The disadvantage i meant was cost
A decent 24-70 f2.8 cost like 6k +
70-200 f2.8 cost around the same
and then the landscape lenses 10-20 costs around 2k+
blehh

A lil overated you can use focus lock wat
Nikon D300 got 51 points

Some books can be dloaded

I wanted to that time also, but no money and didn't really have a powerful pc also

Alternatively, I want to try going for a complete passive cooling set up. I like a quiet PC

Yeap, if we use diff system, can't really swap lens liao.
It really helps in making some nice shots, depending on where you want to focus. Kinda bored with the P&S single focus point

Quiet pc ftw, but u'll miss having an overclocked system
Tried to run stock but never successful, all my pcs i've owned = clocked

But different systems got different pros and cons !
Time to change to DSLR
Then think of the SD IV/CF cards you would need to buy

I will sure overclock, but probably not too hardcore If I don't overclock, I won't feel like I built the PC, it will feel... like I just bought it from someone.
