GUYS !!! (i knw this is kinda off topic but its still related to cod thumbup.gif )...Should I buy the Steelseries 5H V2 WITH OR WITHOUT THE USB SOUNDCARD??? PLEASE GIVE SOME SUGGESTION!!! Anyone know how much does it cost??coz 1utama is selling for RM366 which I think is super cheap compared to the time when they were selling during ESWC, RM500+ i think blink.gif .... Anyhow Is it good besides for gaming like listening to music?watching movies?talking on skype???

CherryD, if you can afford the USB version(with the soundcard), then get it. If not, dont. The soundcard gives you more precise hearing in-game. It gives your audio a 3D feel instead of the usual left or right for example, if a heli is above you, on some ordinary headphones, you hear the heli as on your left and right and not above.

Note, just because you get a soundcard which provides 3D sound doesn't mean it would help you if you can't notice the difference.

On the otherhand, if you can't afford the whole thing, just get a decent headphones and buy a good soundcard. The soundcard is important. Not the headphones.

For further details, ask [ES}.Hayabusa or [ESP].Chucky. They both have(or used to) a 5h Steelseries.

I think I can join you guys after Call of Duty: World At War comes up later .....Maybe....

Let me add up more details about this thing.

The reason of getting usb soundcard as below:

1: no hassle doesnt have sound when going competition.
2: you can get used to ur headphone with usb soundcard, so when going competition, you still used to it.


Regarding precise gaming i got no comments, as i using icemat headphone, but i really recommended of having USB soundcard.
So when going competition doesnt need to worry about Mic cannot talk, dont have sound.

Death says : SteelSeries products are reliable, unless you have a Icemat Siberia already in your hands, i'd just go for the USB with the built in sound card. Again, if you're gonna buy the Siberia later, then opt to stick with the standard non-USB
