Why can't iTunes detect your movies? What format did you convert to?

last time when i was 1.1.4 is okie i have tons of converted .mp4 movies~

now im on 7.7 jailbreak with 2.01 version of my phone
My converted mp4 movies i will store at
C:\Documents and Settings\Terence Too\My Documents\My Videos
(usually it works while i drag n drop to itunes "Movies")

Now whenever i connect my iphone to pc i can drag n drop into iTunes but i click onto "iphone" icon at sync "movies" portion..it will not show up the movies i have copy into itunes..wired....any idea david?

Ahhh..mp4 tak boleh bro. I tried mp4 too on fw 2.0.1. No success. You need to convert it to m4v format. QuickTime Pro has the option to convert movies to iphone format(m4v). Then select via iTunes, movies and select the movie file.

u mean older version of iphone s/w 1.1.4 albe to run mp4 but now 2.01 version?

No problem mate. Apple may have change the format from mp4 in fw 1.1.4 to m4v format when the introduce fw 2.0.x.

I have been using Quicktime Pro to convert most of my movies but it will take like an hour or so to finish converting.

mine works good with mp4.. no problems at all.. got top gear, etc all on my iphone.. damn shiok! .. fyi im running on 2.0.2, and i use aimersoft's iphone converter suite..

videora converter also can do good.

So mp4 can work..cool.

i dont have prob sync itunes to my phone

its really weird if 1.1.x can run mp4 while 2.0 cannot

Btw, DiskAid is useful if the file/folders does not requires permission like 777 or 775 etc. It's a simple straight froward copy and paste app but that's all it does.

i-funbox, iphonebrowser and iPhone Tunnel Suite are more useful/powerful which does the same thing and gives you more control over what you do which includes SSH.

then is strange...my from 1.12--> 1.1.4 all also mp4 then flash to 2.0.1 cannot use already hmm i wonder pwned iTunes or 2.0.1 format changes..

emm...quicktime pro not freeware/shareware?
besides quicktime pro....anyother tools (freeware) able to convert..coz previously im using Kvip for iPhone...
