I wish to know whether you connect it to a CRT? Flat panels? Use composite, s-video, RGB, component or something else?

From technical side, Wii has one of the dumbest video setting ever. At 480p, it's a 4:3 format, but many good games force to run at 16:9. So if you run on CRT to get the best out of 480p, but you'll have top and bottom borders, and if you run on 16:9/16:10/5:4 you'll have stretched image, both lose lose situations.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

It doesn't matter if it's last gen or not, that's out of the question.

Just a suggestion, maybe you guys can snap some photos of your setup? Like how PS3 owners did in their section. Very interesting. tongue.gif

But like i said, for metroid, zelda and RE4 the pc is superb.

This is an old pic (notice the wrapping and sticker was still there):

relevant to my interest.
due to budget and room size constrain, I would be playing my Wii on my monitor, much like that I am doing with my PS2.

would like to see how many ppl are hook up this way.

not too sure what you mean by Wii Monitors.
Im currently playing my PS2 on an 17" CRT monitor, via a VGA box.

TV Box TV2188.
Brought it at sg. wang for about rm180 a few years back.

Regret buying this as the quality isn't so good and I cant use ypbpr without the screen going blank every 10 second.
Should have use the money to buy a cheap 14" tv instead. doh.gif

Added on September 24, 2008, 6:08 pmSolved my problem last week.
Went out to Best Denki and brought a 19" Sharp Aquos LCD TV, currently have my pc and ps2 plug in to it.

When I get my Wii, will plug in using the component cable. smile.gif

Same way that I plug in my xbox 360 & PS3, :-

32 inch LCD Samsung.
with component cables (as my PS3 & xbox 360 took up a HDMI port each).
