A pair of sheer pantyhose and heels is always an ideal match.
I am kinda skeptical when a woman wear boots and pantyhose - feels like something not right or not perfectly match. The most sexist is when non-RHT, red nails and open toe heels ..... drooling ... |

Why this topic suddenly become so boring? what is your view regarding to pantyhose market in Malaysia or Asia? And how is the future for the pantyhose and tights, for example next 5 years what will happen, will it still popular, or more people wearing it, even guys also wear it because I see a lot of foreign pantyhose manufacturer starting to make pantyhose for man.

I doubt there are many who wear under this hot weather expectially this few weeks unless it has become part of their normal office wear. |

I am very sure what you came across are opaque. I do agree that lately there has been an increase of opaque in Malaysia. This is a good begining at least the girl are begining to decorate their legs.Opaque is slightly more denier compare to pantyhose, in range of 40-70 as to pantyhose from 5-20 denier. One reason I could think of is that probably opaque is more durable due to the high denier. So it won't easily run or ruin and can last many round of wearing. But then this could also mean mostly Malaysian girl are too rough and not feminine enough to look after so a delicate piece of art Dun flame me ... just sharing my opinion. All my pantyhose can easily last me between 10-15 wearing before it gave way. My hold-ups and stockings could easily go for 20 Added on May 14, 2009, 2:07 pm QUOTE(silkygirl @ May 6 2009, 02:27 PM) Why this topic suddenly become so boring? what is your view regarding to pantyhose market in Malaysia or Asia? Well, its getting boring as there is not enough exploration and brave soul to pursue this.We are not brought up in a way that pantyhose or hosiery in general, become part of growing up. It's only when one venture into an industry that require hosiery as part of official display. What will happen will pretty much depend on girl such as yourself to bring it forward to the society and promote it. Each has a role to play, woman, seems as legally by social culture, is allow to wear and display openly. Man on the other hand, definitely already playing the role of admiring and enjoying woman who wear hosiery. Asia, probably not in the near future, where hosiery market for man will pick up. But in Europe/US, man already openly wearing hosiery in public. That's what I did when I was in US. Nobody bother what you wear. I even had a lady praised me having a good pair of pantyhose That's my 2 cents of opinion This post has been edited by HosieryGuy: May 14 2009, 02:07 PM |

I thought pantyhose is for female and your profile name is "HosieryGuy". No offense, just curious. |

For me, pantyhose should be for unisex, especially those opaque type. Pantyhose is only like a pair of normal socks, but it is full lenght, from toe to waist only. I did order a pair of Activskin male opaque pantyhose for my husband, and he told me it is quite comfortable to wear. For example, Bras, is specially made for lady because ladies have breast that bigger than guys, thus need better protection and support, so ladies need to wear bras, but if guy wear bras, then I would call it weird because guys don't need any protection at the breast, so guy shouldn't wear bras. Pantyhose at the other hand, can relieve leg pain, give warm to legs, can ease cellulite appear on our legs, people use to stand for long hours will find pantyhose is very good, so why guys can't wear it? Me as a lady, would recommend guys to wear pantyhose for all the benefits that can give us.

If it benefits us (I'm a guy). Why is it that we don't see guys wearing it in the mainstream? |

I myself felt that sheer pantyhose not that suitable for men to wear, especially those ultra sheer one. For me, I would prefer men to wear opaque type pantyhose. If really want to wear sheer type, then would prefer those 20D and above, those 15D is just too sheer and not too suitable for men. This is my own opinion only.
