not for Vantec, get the real PSU manufacturer...
not talking about branding, but get the real OEM one
, if Silverstone, the original maker usually Impervio and Etasis, PC Power & Cooling some of their line even use Seasonic (i'm not so sure though), if CoolerMaster is Acbel (IIANM) Corsair is Seasonic also
Vantec also uses rebranded OEM PSUs.not talking about branding, but get the real OEM one
Not sure from whom though.
If they're using OEM Delta electronics(Which i highly doubt due to the prices) then it's worth the money.
I've tried searching around but found not much results about it.
Like what sniper said above, get brands like AcBel, Fortron SP for the low end, they should do the job well enough.
For those tight on a budget, i'd say the Fortron Blue Storm II will be the best bang for the buck now.
Priced at RM250, it offers everything a decent 500watter should deliver. Not as good as those high end ones, but for entry level this would be one of the best PSU i'd say.
Btw, i'm wondering if anyone here has a rig OCed to 4ghz and above, with 4870CF/4870 X2?
I'd like to know if this PSU could take it.
