this PC Power & Cooling 510W

+5V @ 40A
+12V @ 34A/38A
-5V @ 0.3A
-12V @ 2A
+3.3V @ 30A
+5VSB @ 3A
continuous = 510W
peak = 650W

and this is Silverstone ST56ZF

+5V @ 40A
+12V @ 38A
+3.3V @ 40A

Corsair HX520W

+3.3V @24A
+5V @24A
+12V1 @18A each (got 4 rails - which is i never trust on multi-rail design)

so... does this Huntkey or even other cheap PSU can meet this setting? smile.gif

I believe that Vantec is better i terms of stability, rail and quality.
Price is almost the same. Better go for vantec.

not for Vantec, get the real PSU manufacturer...

not talking about branding, but get the real OEM one smile.gif, if Silverstone, the original maker usually Impervio and Etasis, PC Power & Cooling some of their line even use Seasonic (i'm not so sure though), if CoolerMaster is Acbel (IIANM) Corsair is Seasonic also icon_idea.gif

Woh, nice comparison here you got, taking something which is double or triple the price of the Huntkey 550W one, why not compare it with the Silverstone ST50F or ST56F? (which is also more expensive the Huntkey)
And for the Corsair HX520W I don't see much differences between it and the Huntkey spec.

I can say the Huntkey is good enough for most of the mid range gaming rig (not high end); everyone also know BMW and Benz is a good car, but not everyone need to buy it, we still got a cheaper good car out there like Toyota and Honda to select. . .

no, my point is spend more on PSU, as i said earlier, you have a good processor, good motherboard, good video card, overclock some more, but when comes into PSU... RM200 or even lower... i mean, come on... doh.gif shakehead.gif

take mine for example, i only use Pentium Dual Core E2180, 2 x SATA HDD, but the PSU... 750W RED one... smile.gif

not comparing with same price range with the Huntkey...

This is not balance at all, it is like a 1.5L car having 20" rims. . . why buy a 750W PSU when ur system only need 250W? no doubt an expensive PSU is good, but do we really need to spend so much on something extra that we didn't use it?
