it will be faster but u are missing the points.if its a memory hog i think 2gb of ram couldnt help either.

My question is does Gainward use DDR3 or GDDR3 for the 4000 series ATI and their 9000 series NVIDIA graphic card?
I have check Gainward website and they only stated either DDR3 for most of the card and DDR5 for the 4870 card.
Hopefully NetRaid can answer this question.

Just connect SPDIF output from motherboard to the SPDIF input on the card back panel, then the sound would be channeled to the HDMI

thats what they call technology.
u buy 4870 now and they cost u rm900 and u use it for 6 months and there is a new model and ur 4870 suddenly drop its value.that is technology for you.

and i learn this the hard way.just get it now and dont wait for a new model.

thats why i choose the gainward nvidia model over ati..........
not flaming or whatever but i choose it bcoz that is what my budget allow.

its the Gainward 9800 GT.
not the golden sample but the usual design.
im satisfied with it and i already oc it to 700 core 2000 memory and 1700 shader.

Well NetRaid is the only Gainward distributor in Malaysia and I find that they push this brand really hard here and their customer service is very good.
