The standard bonding pouches are large enough for 2 gliders, unless they're unbelievably obese, then that'll have to be one in one pouch. tongue.gif

I have restarted my cricket baking project! Wahahahaa.... Who want samples? biggrin.gif

Hope my girl will really bond to me well so if I decided to take another girl she will teach the new girl to behave like ur Judy biggrin.gif

From what I gather, Dakota gets along with you very well. Haha.. are you going to the NZX gathering if it is on? I let you play with Judy hahaha. Well tame and older gliders tend to help in training the younger ones.. Meegy used not to climb onto my hand at all. Once she sees Judy climb on, she started to climb on whenever I put my hand in. What ever I do with Judy, Meegy will be observing.

Emino's one doesn't smell cos Teddy's been neutered.

OFF TOPIC a while in response to Jamien's question. I would say it's human consumable cos people in Thailand do eat bugs including scorpions, grasshoppers etc.

Yep... if the gathering is on I will go to Fluff to join the gathering of course!! Now have Dakota ed.. so wont be so jealous like last time..  tongue.gif

Dakota is doin find and she's definitely gain more weight as I can see.. became a lil bit bigger  blush.gif but I still dunno if she's bonded with me yet or not. Cuz I had only bring her out to meet Jamien and she always jumps back to me but only once. Never let her touch by my friend n din really bring her to other place than my room. So I need to bring it out to meet more ppl to see if she's bond with me or not  biggrin.gif
*
Well If she stays on you most of the time, and when you bring her out she won't jump off I would say she's bonded. Judy for example won't jump off me when she on my shoulders in shopping centres. I'll make sure the bonding pouch is round my neck. Whenever she feels unsafe or not in the mood to be out, she'll just go back into her pouch and peep out. Only when she hears the treats bag, she'll immediately come out.

Yup, they taste like nuts. They have a very nice nutty aroma.

Yup, safe for human consumption. My crickets are pre-gutloaded with fresh stuff and quality cereals for a few days and cleaned before baking. I personally do eat a bit to test. biggrin.gif

When my gliders crab or bark or hiss in class, I usually pretend it's my handphone if ppl don't know, but usually the class knows, so I just gently cup them so they stop hissing/crabbing/barking before the teacher complains.

Yup, the gathering is still on. The details will be out soon. Wanna try adding some spice to the crickets, roasted crickets glazed with agave nectar? MMmm....
*
Reanne you make me hungry dy.. that calls for a Nesvita hahaha. since you got baked crickets, why not bake mealworms as well? tongue.gif

You can store in the fridge, it'll slow their metabolism and they eat less. A good side to it is that they don't turn to pupa so fast, if I'm not mistaken.
*
I've also heard about this method but from overseas forums, they still died. tongue.gif

shocking.gif  shocking.gif  How many sg u have?? 40 is too much for 1 or 2 glider....  wink.gif

btw... why everyday got at least 4-5 worms turned into dry black n die huh??
everyday before feeding her I have to sort out n throw those died worms  sweat.gif
*
Ya I agree that 40 is too much for 1 or two.. Limit is about 10 per day.

What do you feed your mealworms with? So far I've got no dead worms yet. Some may be due to health problems.

same with me... I just gutload them with rolled oats oni. But din put them in fridge la but in my room. Sometimes oni I opened air-con if its really too hot if not I din open air-con at all.
*
Try giving vege as well I gutload mine with Sawi and Carrots. Rolled oats are used for my bedding. There again, once you spot mould on the oats, it's advisable to throw all away and replace them cos mould can kill mealworms.

i asked the seller how old..she said around 2 month like dat....around 7 weeks old....abit underage la...and its a female...any tips?....all i know gliders cannot drink milk....what if milk with low lactose?..like HL or something like that..or is there any suggestion to replace its mum's milk?...(hope its not a silly question)
*
We do avoid giving milk to gliders. Most appropriate will be low fat yoghurt which has beneficial fats and calcium to the suggie. As for food, try holding it in front of her and see if she eats.

Hun, when I see you, I may need you to help me cut crazy Meegy's nails. I cannot seem to get her to hold still. Her nails are so sharp. Judy's I can trim cos she will sit quietly.

Btw, just curious... what happen if we cut the inner nails of the hind legs? I havent try to cut her nail since last nite lol scare later she hate me then die.. laugh.gif

I realize that, when Dakota want to poo.. she will made a sound like hissing? I mean I can see that she's trying hard to push out her poo.. is that normal? @.@
*
Dear Muchan, I will go with you again don't worry. I think they won't be able to grip properly if we cut the inner nails. Judy does that hissing sound to but she poos fine.
