hi there, i hav a few question b4 departing to australia nex year, im currently using a dell6400 laptop n planned to bring there nex year, but as stated in the 1st page, the pin for the battery charger is different, so can we actually get the new battery charger here in dell???

n i might plan to get a desktop there coz my laptop is currently aging fast, so izit cheaper to get hardwares here or its EASIER to get over there???

guys...it is true PR holder only pays 1/3 of uni fees? i've heard one of my dad's friend migrate there..the fees definitely pay less. but i dunno by how much. i'm thinking to apply to melb uni or unsw.

My commencement date on 9 February 2009 and I'm planning to apply my student visa In November  ( first week of November ) and arrive in Sydney on 31 December 2008.  Should I inform the immigration and am I allow to enter Australia upon my visa granted ? Is there any start date and end date like visa validity ? Please help...

which college is that? it seems tuition fees are increasing every year. sigh. did you apply for PR, or are you paying international rate?
but i understand once i apply for PR, they will consider me as a ''local'', so i'm competing with aussies to gain admission, not internationals. would that lower my chances?

i'm pretty sure you can claim back the portion of fees you pay. dont know if they do it in Curtin but in UQ i'm pretty sure they allow you to get back a portion of the tuition fees you paid
