just wanna ask any job field related to international business degree ?

is it easy to get a job with this degree in australia ?
*
and i think the starting price of graduates with a business degree is like AUD3k while engineering graduates with AUD2k. I dont know about now, with the recession and all. Its better if u have PR status, easier to get hired.

Booby,Im the webmaster of Malaysian Student Organisation in UNSW.

No one updates their site during the holidays because there are no events during the holidays.Same thing for a few other university's Malaysian clubs in NSW.

Never judge a club by it's website. It might look dead on it's website but it could be one of the most active clubs in the uni.

I believe everyone here face the no friends problem when they study aboard the first time. It's normal.

Lastly, dont expect everyone here to spoon feed you information or whine just because we dont spoon feed you.
*
how the heck did u get into the MSO committee? Hehe, congrats bro. Just be friends with the elites and u'll get higher positions in no time. Maybe in MASCA or something.

Just be extra friendly and make the first moves while making friends here, especially with the Aussies.

Is MASCA really a big thing is other states like canberra or NSW?
because from my experience, not many ppl knew bout MASCA in melb.
even I only knew bout MASCA through a badminton competition my friend joined.
*
Its just something the government wants to do to get in touch with the students. Its pretty good since Malaysia's the only country that has its own body to take care of the students overseas. MASCA is the umbrella praganization for all malaysian student clubs in australia. basically it acts as a channel for communication between the government and the students. and the also provides fundings for the clubs to operate as long as the club operates within the guidelines. Since Im a private student myself, I have no idea bout this kinda stuff (not like i really care in the first place) but i bet government sponsored students know about this kinda stuff.

One thing to note is that if you pack them nicely so they appear to be a commercial product you'll have a higher rate of success. They want to prevent people bringing disasters from outside so if you just seal your local food in a transparent plastic bag i don't think that's going to work.

and just make sure the ingredients are stated in english.

once you get COE can find job d..plus if you have visa right?

My visa is valied for 2 years tho
*
What? Visa gives you the rights to work because your work permit is attached to your passport (be sure to apply for a Tax File Number), doesnt have anything to do with your CoE. And validity of your visa links with your duration of studies. Mine was given 6 years.

what is exactly your problem??
do you have a problem with me? or with students generally whom you think does not have as good of a command of english as you??
i just heard from the IDP fella that the COE is the most important thing..other than your visa..and once you get your COE you can start looking for jobs bcos it is held as a proof that you're studying in aussie.

and yeah i know about the tax file thingy too..so much procedures giving me a headache!
*
Lol chill. Ah it never occured to me to even print my COE. I have like... 4 COEs so I couldnt be bothered. Doesnt really matter really since most of us have e-visa, so you just need to apply for a TFN and ur ready to work! - since you applied after that April date. From what I know, employers would only ask for your passport number and TFN.

And yes KVR, free sauna. Thats the bright side.

Added on January 14, 2009, 1:19 pmBtw. since most uni starts like at the end of Feb or early March, everyone in Melbourne, lets hang out!
