If you're going to use PC and play BDs, I'd strongly advise you to up your budget and go Full HD. A HD-ready LCD looks really awful with the PC, especially the fonts will look blocky. Since you have HD sources, the choice of brand is not so important. They will all look good with HD sources since very little processing will be involved. More importantly, make sure the set can do 1:1 pixel mapping for PC use or it's not going to look good.
Oh, and the Philips 3403 has awful black levels and processing. Avoid any Philips LCD TV that doesn't have "Pixel Plus HD" or better. "Crystal Clear" looks like your average auto-levels kind of crap.
You have been too straight and frank with your view la Oh, and the Philips 3403 has awful black levels and processing. Avoid any Philips LCD TV that doesn't have "Pixel Plus HD" or better. "Crystal Clear" looks like your average auto-levels kind of crap.
