the main site is run using a blog system from wordpress

and there's also a forums which is run using vanilla (pretty similar to vbulletin and what we have here in lowyat)

i'm looking for ppl to share their reviews, gaming experience, news, tech and general discussion on the blog as well as the forum

well posting here makes sense too since i know that only people who knows what gaming is really about will be reading this

i would be interested if only i have the budget to get new games each and every time.

done a few reviews for ps2 games a few years ago on my blog. mostly for my own amusement. but yeah, pm me if you got the details as i am very interested in this.

Well I might be able to help too, FOC. Haha no worried, I think lot fo people here don't mind doing it for free, is what we called as sharing experiences.

If you are asking me, I am much anticipated in wii games, and everything related to wii. I can bring all the wii latest news as I am 24 hours active in gametrailer forums, gonintendo, ign and other gaming sites.

I haven't write a review before for games, but guess no harm trying.

i've been known to rant angry video game nerd style at school and my blog.
you know,ranting about how these game developers are making retarded decisions.

for example,how guitar hero 3 on ps2 has no online or dlc.there's obvious oppurtunity.i mean,remember the hard drive that came out with final fantasy 11?or the network adapter used to play online games(don't bother in malaysia,its full of lag)
i can understand that there's not an official way of payment for dlc,but i mean you could release coupon codes or something to download the songs,right?
or at least make it only online play.that would've been smart.

No offense, but your example of a rant doesn't really have its real acceptable meaning.

The PS2 HDD and Network Adapter has an adoption rate close to that of the Sega Saturn, in which case most of these people are from the FF11 and SOCOM camp. Also, I'm sure Sony has told Activision not to put online play in GH3 for the PS2 in order to boost the PS3's online gaming capabilities more. Its just indirectly telling people that, if you want to play GH3 online on the Playstation camp, you gotta do it on the PS3 so you gotta buy a PS3. Same applies to DLC here.

What would have been smart though, is for Activision to release an "expansion-pack" disc for PS2 GH3 owners. The expansion pack of course will feature all the DLC that has been released thus far, sell it a low price-point like how GH: Rock the 80's was sold. However, why they have not still done it is something I'm still wondering about.

hmm.. i wonder how could you fit the HDD into the PS2 Slim. face it, DLC will always require more than the 8mb memory card to work. thus ps2 is not a viable market for online. plus ps2 wasn't created with online in mind, thus the architecture is somewhat lacking in both usage and acceptance from developers.

i have GH3 on ps2. besides the graphics, it plays well just like the next gen version.

as for payment, it has been accepted that both playstation store and xbl has their own version of monetary system that can be purchased using credit card or physical prepaid card. so no question about that. i dunno how much more official you want it to be.

it seems that there's a lot of hardcore gamers/veterans here...
