hi, i was stay in bandung for 3 years (i'm indonesian actually)
bandung is a nice place, but the trafic jam for weekends and the public transport is sucks.. (but better than jakarta)
u can go to shopping, but u should go to have some dinner there, go to Lembang area, there is so many nice resto and really cheap..
last time bandung is quite cold, but now not really.. but in Lembang there still cold..
about nice place, u can google it..^^

Added on October 28, 2008, 5:08 amoh ya, about mutiara hotel... hmm, i dun like it, but it's quite easy to go other place from there..
i like some small hotel, only cost less than RM100..
