Do u know which computer shop 3 rd floor/ 2 nd floor near VAIO laptop shop?

The shop has pak guard one.

And all the display laptops are password protected and buyer cant even touch it.

Do u know which shop is that?

i had bad experience with this shop , i just want to see laptop's performance and all of sudden one young malay lady with thick make up, lock it while i was playing with it.and run away.DAMN!

Can u imagine how rude she was.I just want to see the laptop and she shut it off with the password without respect at least one secs.......

I dunno what kind of shop treat customer like that.pissed offffffffffff like helllll!!!!!!!

have u guys ever experience as bad as me?

hmmm..mostly malay sellers..happen to my father also....malay guy but not the same shop shakehead.gif .....theyll soon close shop...dun worry^^

yup a lot of shops are password locked but you could always ask them to switch off the password ... btw its very rude to lock the pc especially when people are testing it ... they just lose a potential customer ...

im going to find the shop's name this week...

im not being racist,but im referring to tht rude girl.

Could u just imagine while im testing the laptop suddenly she locked ...thats rude man...im sure no one can stand that....

THATS RUDE !!!

If im not mistaken only one shop has a guard.Beside the shop there is "thunder match" booth. which sells viao laptops

she is rude ... but anyway , how r u going to test the performance since u cant benchmark on it ...... ???

open Office application and plainly playing wif it cant test it actual performance .... look at the spec and u can rougly knw how does it perform d ...

i dun like going there ... but anyway , juz avoid getting frm that shop if don like

probably this is abit OT, but just wana share my experience in buying a notepal infinite laptop cooler..

i went to All IT Hypermart first because i thought since its so big, the price there should be lower.. found out it wasn''t, they were selling it for rm110 that time, when all other shops i surveyed were around 95 - 105, so i asked the guy there, any further discount? He was abit irritated with my question, and replied me with a curt no, then just walked away... as if i cannot afford to buy from him .. ><

finally end up buying at sri computers for rm95.. and to think i even have an ALL IT Hypermart member card.. bla..

I also pernah kena like this. but in food shop. choosing some twisties or something like that. messed it up a bit la coz finding the suitable one. later come employee fast2 arrange. when the employee gone, I messed it up kaw2. bwahahaha. padan muka laugh.gif

yeah.. i had bad experience with malay sller also... i can't remember the store clearly.. this is my scenario..

i accompany my friend to buy a RM700++ speaker... when we test it, then the malay guy come to us and call us bangang.... say we don have any knowledge about speaker... then sit at one side and din explain anything...

i dun think it is thundermatch on the top floor..coz normally their staff is either at the counter or behind the glass display rack...

Hope her supervisor read this thread...and then take action. Maybe warn her. To treat customers in a such way is absolutely disrespectful. If she got fired, served her right then!!!

ALL IT business so good ... even if the her supervisor see this thread, i dont think he might care also... all this tidak apa attitude ... haih ....

but I tested the 901 at ALL IT and nothing happen, i asked the guy, can you unlock this laptop for me coz i want to try the keyboard, i typed for 3 minutes and then i said ok can lock back d ... too hard to type ... then i juz walk away but b4 i chow i ask how many stock left ... then he said black one got 2 and white one got 5. then i said ok i come back later ... hehe =)

but i dont remember seeing any girl selling lappie ... hmmm .... never really notice i guess coz she not hot ? hehehehe

Lol ! people visit that shop because they seems to have every IT stuff over there.. Thats why you can see alot people go in and out ..
Well, honestly, their stuff not really cheap, just that some item might comes with free gift for you .. xD

hmm, this is onli 1 sided ... she might be wrong but mayb i think shud ask for permission or mayb it's d way that ur playing with it tat seems to irritate the salesperson as well? not only customers get irritated right? smile.gif

from what i know, the laptops on display in lowyat are mostly personal stock from the store and not demo units from their respective suppliers so i'm sure if u were the boss u wouldn't want anything to happen to any units on demo right? tat's why it's password locked n salesperson hv to take care of their products too. sony on the other hand i know has demo units because the units are directly from sony malaysia so it's free to use n touch n browse coz it's been paid for already.

i never had bad experience with all it especially the laptop section. the chubby chinese guy is friendly and malay tudung girl is also nice. cannot bargain that much but still that guy is helpful. i dont buy anything also he let me test the laptop.

but recently i dunno lah .... when go to all it no longer see that chinese guy and malay tudung girl. so assume they're no longer there.

Well the display laptops are meant to be tested i guess, if not i dont think they would want to put it as a display model. and also even if its a personal stock, doesnt give you the "right" to lock or get irritated coz ITS YOUR JOB as a salesperson to make sure that the customer would get the information they need.

Personally i think that, a person who goes into a shop to see a particular laptop or looking around at lappies, I would think that the particular person has an intention to get a laptop or might be getting one in the near future. =)

Maybe malay girl is new?tongue.gif Last time, I go to this shop..I don't see malay girl, but got two chinese guys..they let me test new laptop.. smile.gif It is fine for me..you can try call boss, then complain to boss about it biggrin.gif

But ALL IT hypermarket got lots of stuff and display there..so easy to browse around rather than go to ask ppl take out for u le..so i like go to ALL It or ThunderMatch to look around the thing b4 i decide which one to buy..then only compare price with other shop!!! LOL

I guess it would be based on individuals, I dont think we should judge the whole shop as being rude or something. =)

i think only that malay girl got attitude problem, as there r 1 chinese guy at AllIt is very friendly and alwiz help me get wat i want each time i pay a visit to there. icon_rolleyes.gif

Sometimes a good reputation can be spoilt be easily undone by one ******* employee.

I have to say I too bought and claimed some stuffs before from ALL IT. This has to be one of the best shop in town although not all their stuff is cheap. But really, the service there is better than most of the shops in LYP. I like the style in the shop where you can see the item and then decide whether or not you want to buy it without the staff bugging you to close the deal faster.

Not to mentioned that their boss is actually quite friendly and warm. There was once I waiting for the lift. Then one uncle ask me where I bought and how much. I told him and he replied that his shop is selling slightly cheaper and welcome me to visit nextime. He was there again when they are having sales to help the EARTHQUAKE victims in China. Definately a role model for computer megastore.

Hmm if my memory served me correct,this is the shop that have a lousy service.

Last time im asking for USB 2.0 connector,then the seller ignore me...okey fine just because im look like a stupid kid or something.
Fine then i try search myself but after that comes another seller,i ignore him for all time...ROFL.

Lousy shop is lousy.

tumpang ur threat...oso happened here.... another example bahave rude toward customers...the bec corner of the shop which display speakers set...a malay guy stand there ,(mayb b he in charge at dat corner, every time go there sure can find him), sometime saw him wif long hair n tied up... he behave juz like he is the owner of those speakers set. the speakers the are not arranged accordingly to sets... sometimes if customers wanna test it ... dunno this satelite belong to which set or not sure the sound come out from which one or not sure the speaker is on or not ...if u question him... he replied like people should juz stay away if dunno anything... I dunno whether he is having a bad feeling that day or wat but my friends oso hav the same experience wif this guy... oh yes... this guy always play tasteless songs ...and every time saw him very indulging in those songs ...

Blah, my experience in ALL IT wasn't so bad but it was a bit rude to me. So here's mine, I wanted to purchased notebook cooler and other stuff at there then a staff helped me to carry to the cashier while I browse for other things. Ok, once I done with it I went to the cashier and pay.

Because my stuff was at the cashier there then BAGGER that malay girl pointed to the cashier beside her and tell me "sana". She was counting money only that time, but before she put any closed sign my stuff was already there but heck she didn't care. Just closed. sleep.gif

This is the same malay girl.. which i complaint to the manager the other day when i went to this hypermall to look for IDE Hard disk docking station.

What i do.., I just peek inside the box.. to look at the item.., as on the box there's no mention whether it is for IDE or SATA hard disk.

She just walk over to me.. grab (rampas) the item from me.., and close it back and point to me - encik tak nampak ke - tak boleh bukak...!

i replied - The box already open anyway .. and the notice it hang over head me.., so i didn't realise it. sorry..

she just walk away in arrogance and utter this word the her colleagues - "buta ke apa..! dah tulis besar2 tak reti baca ke apa? kecik-kecik tak nak mampos.. dah besar menyusahkan orang!" (translated - is he blind or what..? already written very big also cannot or what? small-small don't die straight away.., grown up making trouble to ppl)

there are also other word like bodoh and other thing.. but.. word after that I didn't hear already.. blood already boiling..!

I already said sorry, isn't it? why need to utter such a rude remark to customer.., and she does it like purposely loud enough for me to hear it..

I end up buying some Case Fan.., and after I make the payment.., I demand to see the store manager.. then I ask the manager to call that girl.., and she come - I ask her - please repeat whatever word you said to your friend just now.., and rudely.. she denied saying anything - saying - Saya tak cakap apa pun..

And i call the other guy that she utter those word.., and I repeat the whole sentences above to the guy.. , and the guy admit it.

I tell to manager - how come such a crude and rude staff can work here? They should respect customer..! I didn't expect to be treated like a VIP or what.., It's enough if she come to me nicely and tell me - Sorry sir, all this item are not to be open. there's a sign saying it. I would just say sorry..

The manager also.. not really a diplomatic one..!he maybe haven't trained to handle customer situation.., what they supposed to do is apologized 1st to customer, then only ask the girl what happen.

But this manager - ask the girl.., what really happen??.., and the girl start defending herself - saying - this customer didn't see the signboard saying cannot open item and still open the item...

I said back to the manager - the box already open, and i just want to peek what's inside to check whether if I bought thisl, can fit my hard disk or not. And I add, even if I did wrong by opening the box.. there's no such need to be rude to customer..

I tell the manager, I want the girl to apologize openly and loudly to me. The manager said - ok laa, I apologize for the staff rudeness..
No.., I insist wanting the girl to apologize for being very rude to customer.

Wah.. this girl didn't want to apologize.! she said.. why she need to apologize..? It's the customer fault what. After much persuasion (from the manager), then only she said - I'm sorry . but.. not with a sincere face..! (not satisfied face laa)

last word to her and her manager before i leave - next time don't be that rude to customer.. or you might 1 day end up makan penampar! (getting a slap on the face..). And you mr manager - please educate your staff not to be rude to customer.


I swear .. I would never buy from this shop again.

Met with the manager for ALL IT HYPERMART, a chinese guy, did asked him about the malay girl. he said , he instruct them to look out to anyone who is manhandling their product and it is the sales person job to make sure that customer stop from doing so.

If they dont, anything broken will come out from their paycheck. The chinese manager said the display units are not FREE, they have to buy it, if some dude starts to poke here and there, imagine if a hundred people does that on one day. If something breaks they have to replace the display model. No one wants to see that particular unit.

we went the whole ground floor looking at laptops without any restrictions. everyone was helpful and just wanted to make the sale. commission mahhhh...

so tell me what is the difference between lowyat and digital mall?

lowyat thinks that they dominate the 'IT' market cos it's been there for so long.

Hhahaha nice one. I do feel your pain as a customer. I ordered something from HP online around Dec sometime I think. When they got back to their reseller here to send me my HP Docking Station. Absolute crap service PERIOD. The grammar and spelling they used was absolute crap and respect to customers was completely zero. They told me my order was being processed, so I was quite amazed that was quick, then a week later I realized oh crap it was automatically generated, several more weeks went by, I received another email saying my order was still being processed. Eh? Payment was already received way back. Anyways I got my docking station in late Jan, when it did say stock was available and payment made in early Dec. No apology, no discount coupon, nothing, like that was their delivery time, really annoying, but then again who to complain to ? I know the story is completely unrelated but nvm, but everywhere nowadays, just standard manners and etiquette are lacking so much. It may be true to a certain extent, but a demo unit is expected to go through torture here, and then some computer hardware shops sell them as 2nd hand units or repackaged, shocking as it is but Malaysia Boleh. A hundred people can look at a laptop, but then again Malaysians know once broken considered sold, some people would show extreme care while handling a laptop that is worth a lot of money, I doubt that they would be banging on the keys or pressing the LCD till it makes a permanent mark. But then again Malaysia Boleh, so I do not know, but my time of browsing sections of computer shops that sell laptops I have never seen somebody mishandle a laptop, and those are the big sale days where tons of people are at, haven't seen it yet or yet to see. i don't know, just my 2 cents. icon_rolleyes.gif

I work in All IT, so I'll try to be a liason between you and my company, but I'm only doing this unofficially at the moment, when the website is up (I know it's been down for a bloody long time) then we'll have a proper forum for you guys to post your opinions (good and bad) there.

Going straight to the problem, I think I know who you are referring to. The person has left the company for quite a while already, very hot malay chick with long hair and big boobs, yes she has left. Off the record, many of us have had problems with her, so I understand your frustration. But she is gone now and I hope you do not blame the shop for the actions of one person.

We always train our staff to be polite and friendly to our customers. Really. Obviously, customer service is of utmost importance as we all realise you won't come back if the service is bad. Heck I wouldn't go any place where the service irks me, lets face it, we're all human and we wanna be treated the way we deserve, right?

Next time if you have any problems with the staff, please approach the supervisors and have a chat with them. HOWEVER, please, please, PLEASE (and I can't stress this enough), PLEASE do not blow your head off to them. Talk in a pleasant polite tone and I'm sure we can always work things out. As I said, we are all human, and if you were in the salesperson's position, you wouldn't want to help a lanxi arrogant customer too, right? Realistically speaking, don't you agree with me?

Regarding prices, we always try to offer the lowest possible prices for everything we sell. It's either low prices, or value-added gifts, that is for certain. But sometimes other shops cut to extreme prices (in cantonese, 'teow ka' - throw price), and we cannot do that. It is very wrong business practice, imagine if everyone started throwing prices then all of Lowyat can close down already, can't maintain rental. Businessmen will understand here.
However what I can suggest is that you go do your 'price checks' and come back to us, if we can give you a better deal then I'm sure we can work things out. Else, you are free to visit the other store, this is a free country after all.

Please also note that shop policy is shop policy. Some things we can bend, some things we can't. But a pleasant discussion usually works out much better than a blown-out argument.

I will try to update to this page, I know a lot of you will start blasting me with questions now that you've found a target laugh.gif But please give me some time between replies cos as I said, I'm doing this unofficially. We're all very busy with the upcoming All IT Ikano Grand Opening now too (will update more on that when things get confirmed).

It is very wrong business practice, imagine if everyone started throwing prices then all of Lowyat can close down already, can't maintain rental. Businessmen will understand here.
However what I can suggest is that you go do your 'price checks' and come back to us, if we can give you a better deal then I'm sure we can work things out. Else, you are free to visit the other store, this is a free country after all.

Please also note that shop policy is shop policy. Some things we can bend, some things we can't. But a pleasant discussion usually works out much better than a blown-out argument.

about the pricing thing, true some other outlets are bit cheaper than ALLiT. but not long ago i was looking for a 2.5" sata hdd 160gb... went to the counter was asking 1 of the on-duty staff. to my suprise, everytime i asked him about the sata hdd, he immediately answered, tak tau. imagine asked him like 3 questions and same answers from him, tak tau. got pissed off just walked away and bought the hdd from another outlet and cost a bit more.

off topic: i have visited the Ikano branch, and actually i was quite surprised to find that the items that ALL IT printed on the price list is not applicable to the other branches besides Low Yat. to be specific, i was looking for this Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 player which is selling at RM169 according to the price list, and i went to Ikano branch to get one. however, i was told by the staff there that the players have been "transferred" back to Low Yat and only available there. he also told me that it is also not available in PJ Digital Mall branch.

may i know if what the staff said was correct? i am not bashing the staff, he was very polite when he answered me, just that i feel kind of weird that not all branches have the same items listed on the price list. thanks smile.gif

our customer service concept (officially anyway) is to approach only when requested. but that's not practiced anyway, it all depends on the salesperson. we also dont want to control our staff so strictly smile.gif

perhaps the person you asked, was a new staff, or belonged to another department... cos all our ppl at the counter really know their stuff. sorry to hear you got a not-so-good experience, but hope things work out better next time.

Yeah malay dont know how to attract customers,they just know when we will get rich!money want but dont wanna give good services,that why they so few malay selling pc stuff and i thing there is't one malay company at lowyat.Dont get me wrong,i'm not racist and i'm also malay smile.gif But my exp at all it and thundermatch at PJ digital mall very good,the staff very friendly.

not only malay sales do that in that shop. I experience once which "served" by a chinese sales man.

I'm looking on the Asus EeePC 700 and I really love the EeePC, but too bad it have a small screen. The display set in the All IT even worst because it have a ugly plastic film and 2 small piece of masking tape which hold on the plastic film to protect the screen. I'm trying to convince my friend that this is not as ugly as what he saw on the display set so I remove the masking tape and the plastic film temporary just to show my friend "it is not that ugly", my friend also agreed after temporary remove the film and tape.. when we try to put back...

while the staff might be rude, u are at fault also for tampering with their items without asking for permission
the staff wouldn't know what u had done to the item and if the item spoil, he would have to pay out of his wallet, if u were in his shoe, how would u feel?

Aww thanks man. Actually I'm now looking for a job again, am going for an interview to TMT on Saturday, wonder if I should as ALL IT if they want me back hmm....... Marketing job hehe. Unless someone else got better job for me XD
