ermm... i think u asked d wrong person bro... bro xixo or alive88 would be a better person who can guide u...  smile.gif

basically i played w/ trc, tras & trfc only...  biggrin.gif

ic.. thx anyway.. notworthy.gif

@xixo_12
would u mind to help me bro? notworthy.gif i really dont know anything about memory timing.. just use try n error method tongue.gif

erk me??
i dunno what trc, tras, n trfc rclxub.gif

emm @sharkeer, do u put any cooling on un KVR??
what the best freq shot that u can get with loose timing??
*
i put a cooler but not a proper ram cooler.. just a 12cm fan (currently my mobo outside casing, will put in after stable.. ).. rite now can stable 1000Mhz @ 2.1v.. timing is 5-5-5-15-24-2T.. is it safe for a value ram?

as long as there's sumthing to cool 'em down will do. my ex pair of kvr (d9dcl) was on 2.2v 24/7 (1000@5-4-4-x), naked w/o any fans, run stable w/o any problem...  wink.gif
btw, today is a sad day for me as i'll be movin to....

bye.gif to my beloved phenom...  cry.gif

@ah_khoo
i hope can get it stable at 2.1v.. last night fail orthos blend after 2 hours.. cry.gif ur phenom sold edi? cry.gif

@xixo_12
it seem my mobo very sensitive with tRRD timing.. the higher value i set the longer orthos run without fail.. hmm.gif 4=2min then freeze 5=2hours now i set to 6=still running after 3 hours.. hope stable this time, tired experimenting edi.. wat is this timing for? if i increase to 2.2v will it stable straight awy?

different setting give u different bandwidth.. i f u cant tweak more on timing..most probably, the ram edi hit at wall  2,2v, try loosen some main timing or reduce speed
*
failed orthos after 5 hours, loose timing @2.2v.. cry.gif like u said, hit the wall edi.. my psu also not good enough.. blush.gif now stick with 859Mhz @ 4-4-4-12-16-2T..

u shud not over estimated the KVR laugh.gif
summore great achivement there, for the orthos that failed at 2.2v about 5 hours, actually u can use that setting for daily use.. it's quite stable, n u can leave it like that or use 859 at CL4, orthos summore got few bug,
now u have 2 options, decide it by urself which one give more bandwidth..
*
1000Mhz gv more bandwidth n faster at superpi but maybe stick at 859MHz.. not really comfortable with 2.2v actually.. smile.gif thx bro notworthy.gif

sori guys, need help here. i'm doing some testing on my 4800+ with stock cooling, to see how much will it go with acceptable temp. but i dun know which software should i believe; CoreTemp, SpeedFan or Everest. Different reading given. Everest shows temp +10C higher than CoreTemp reads. In fact i do notice even BIOS shows quite high reading eventhough my pc just been on (~55C). Can somebody tells me which the best software to be used to record temp reading for AMD proc?

[attachmentid=601931]
*
i'm using cpuid hardware monitor.. look at the TMPIN not the CORE#0 or#1.. my proc can get 2.8Ghz at stock voltage.. temperature is around 38-40c on full load..

update my OC

CODE
Athlon64 X2  | anep | Abit Ax78 | CorsairDHX | 6400 | 5-5-5-18 | Freezer64 Pro

cant push higher than 260mhz la..
*
u can do higher than that..if cant push fsb so put higher multiplier.. even my 4800+ can do 3.1Ghz.. urs is be.. biggrin.gif

doh.gif  at first i'm quite amazed with ur result (2.8Ghz and load temp 38-40C) but then realized u are using a quite good cpu cooler (mine just using stock AMD hsf  blush.gif )
*
sori.. didnt notice tongue.gif i use stock cooler also b4.. i think not past 50c hmm.gif

coz i want to incrase the fsb.. i ask one forummer n he said higher fsb better than higher multipier
*
as far as i understand, we adjust multiplier to determine memory divider.. lower multiplier will lower memory divider.. resulting higher memory frequency mean better bandwidth.. not that higher fsb is better hmm.gif ..

Hey, i would like to ask, i've managed to push my CPU from 2.5ghx to 2.9ghz & it's stable but my prime95 test failed. It failed meaning it's not stable right? But it doesn't crashes so is it okay?
*
this link might help u understand better.. Link. as for reference my proc can get 3.0Ghz at 1.376v.
