a long time ago, the best COMPROMISE for comfort and handling was said to be the Koni absorbers + Eibach springs.. im not sure if its still the same thing said today...
and imho....no such thing as handling + comfort...pick one or the other...its either handling OR comfort...no such thing for both. |

Original spring + sport adsorber = stiffer ride, but not much lowered... it is recommended to change both lowered spring and sport absorber... no it wont maintain the same comfort level.... stiffer ride is guaranteed.... pairing with good absorber will reduce the bumpiness..... |

Erm, I heard that Titan is quite well known for good handling and comfort. You can try, somemore Titan's absorber has quite high second value. If I have $$$, I would have bought it.

rsr ti2000, best for perodua car..but it cost arm and leg
eibach tips for finding spring, look at the amount of coil, the more coil the less bumpy it is..this kind usually come in progressive form and most of them have more coil than stock spring be worried of short, little coil but thick spring, those are nightmare to your ass but provide real sporty handling..ur car will jump like takumi 86 This post has been edited by athlonxp: Sep 2 2008, 10:22 AM |

QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Sep 2 2008, 02:04 AM) yes... there is difference... can the ori spring fitted into sport absorber in the 1st place? even if can, the spring was already compressed until only 30~40% room left for the coil and recoil action :sweat:lowered Sport spring + original absorber = bumpy ride, lowered... I am using APEX Sport Spring + Improve Comfort for my SEG 1.6.
Good balance between comfort level and stiffness. Give it a try. Note* I did add spring washer so it will be much higher. 4 finger gab front and back. woot. |

I am currently running stock Kayaba Absorbers with R3 springs...
very nice & comfy. not very well on wavy roads but on flat road it pawns. Highly recommended with short stroke absorbers (GAB, Kayaba, Monroe) This post has been edited by usus: Sep 2 2008, 04:04 PM |
