Gaming with Vista seems fine , no issues just some minor drawbacks and I hate the whole visual experince (maybe I am too used to OSX and Compiz). I used to bash Vista , but after using it for my media center. Fell in love with Windows Media Center for Vista. Plays HD Content fine , records my ASTRO shows and it just does a great job.

Minor issues - You can't help it

To run Vista , you just need a 21st Century PC. If you can't afford or not willing to fork out money , remain with XP or better yet DIY with some linux distro such as ubuntu. The only disadvantage I would say is that I lost the EAX Functionality on my Creative Audigy with Windows Vista. But bah , thats just one !

Oh yeah , I can even run games which were designed for Windows 95 in Vista. No issues or what-so-ever , especially after installing SP1 !
