I got the same problem while helping my friend to jailbreak his Maxis iPhone 3G OS 3.0a bit worried to try it again.. anyone else face this problem and managed to solve it?

Other Information/Remarks :
At the end, is my mistake because I used 3GS firmware to jailbreak his 3G.
You might need to confirm the firmware that you are using is the correct one.
The reason we jailbreak is we want the SBSettings and Five Dockflow. Others we tried to use Apps Store as much as possible.
