hey i've googled up for Syntium 800 15-50. its semi syn but its not a 10-40 engine oil. Would it be better for FC? or 10-40 is better?

they gave me 15w-50 lor. Alot difference? i read up about the comparison, 15w-50 is smoother izzit true?

i see googled up, lotta ppl recommended using mineral oil would do. @@!? anyway i would also wanna know. 10w or 15w stands for temp oil flow into the engine? sumthg like that. and 40 or 50 stands for the heat it wheat stand? hermm. . . sounds confusing. hahhaa but roughly like dat la.

after chaing da sport rims and tyre the fellow say i can only pump 200 or 30 psi?

where u get those kind of gas?

BTW i've just got UR Strut Bars Front, really recommended installing them. Should give it a try.

ur car still below 1k km??? if it is then its normal. mine after 1st service only can get 3xx km full tank.

depend on ur foot la. i last time rm50 baru can get around 200km. 190 - 200km. now after 1st service can get 3xxkm(<350km).

you're using MT or A? done your 1st service? my colleague is using a A full tank can hit 300km more or less only. light footed driving style.

While mine, im using MT full tank around 350km i assume. heavy footed fellow. REV REV! BROOOMMMM~

same la thats the sound i was talking about. a sucking sound once travel more den 100km/h. it suppose to be normal. car will buang abit? hermm no idea get strut bar + 15 inch rims might help? hahahaha

aiks, seems like same case with me wor.

so far shell gave me the best mileage.
Shell full tank 350km
BHP around 300 - 320km only
Mobil - worst! 280km ++
Petronas - above 300km slightly a lil bit.

Seems like from today onwards ill only go for SHELL~

Latest FC of mine 0.23cent/km herm... still consider bad to me. Would the FC be better after my 2nd and 3rd service?

Anyone have done their 2nd and 3rd service can clarify?

petrol brand: Shell
Range of Rev: 3 - 4 k rpm
Travelling Route: 70% City 30% Highway
Transmission: Manual~

Need to aim for better FC. next service going to try 10w-40 instead of 15w-50 oil.

done my 1st service after a week getting the car. my next service would be at 6.3k. awaiting for it. the oil used rite now is syntium 800.

How much is petronas 10w-40 oils? i look into the webby its rm175??? that's expensive~~

Added on October 19, 2008, 9:45 amya always did a check on the air pressure~ after 1st service i think my car improved by 100km. previously full tank around <250km. now full tank around 350km. not bad~ but 10w-40 oils make a difference? the oil is rm100 more compared to syntium 800 im using now~

yea hahaha. EFI 15". taiwanese rims changed since 1st day i got the car. so far so good. hermmm ill head out and pump higher pressure later then. haha
