Does anyone know why does our saga blm comes with drum brakes for the rear wheels instead of disc brakes like waja?? The car brakes are nt really sharp. Any suggestion to improve the braking system?

NCT5 is better i guess because it sits on a higher rank thn ducaro but the design on ducaro looks nicer. Hahaha. Michelin XM1 would be better of interms of FC and its slightly more expensive.

voyager86, im driving the new saga blm. My blm's gear shift feels nothing like waja's gear shift. Blm's gear is quite soft and flimsy. Im scared to change gears aggressively coz the gear stick feels like it can break. LoL. Dnt worry, i got used to it. Unlike waja's gear, the feel of changing gears is more firm and steady. However, waja's throttle is deeper thn blm's throttle but it is more responsive.

Ur welcome. 1 more thing, waja's brake pedal is more deeper thn blm's brake pedal. Ive never hit the throttle till the floor yet coz im trying to get a good FC and my speed reaches not more thn 100km/h.

-Need some advise-
Anyone here using ultra racing bars??
For saga blm they have front and back strut bars, lower arm front and back bars, and anti-roll bar rite.
So is it advisable or necessary to install all 5 bars or certain bars will do???

So far from what ive read, most of the blm owners only install front strut bar. Im wondering why not other bars. Hmmm... Wouldnt it be better to install the strut bar together with the front lower arm bar??
Added on November 14, 2008, 11:02 pmOne guy said tht saga blm MT cant install front lower arm bar coz when he change gears, the gearbox will hit the bar. How true is this???

Finally, i had Ultra Racing front strut bar installed yesterday at Advan Racing, Seremban for rm110. Im very pleased with my cars handling after installing the sturt bar. I can take corners fast and confidently which i could not before. Now im thinking of installing the rear lower arm bar OR the anti-roll bar. My budget only permits for one. This is because when i take sharp fast corners, the front remains planted to the ground but the rear feels like its rolling over. I need some advice on which bar should i install either the rear lower arm bar OR the anti-roll bar. May i know which bar has a greater effect on handling when installed and which points of the car does the 2 bars connect to?

My blm just reached 1000k mileage today. Planning to make an appointment with the SC this coming saturday. Besides changing the engine oil and oil filter what else will they change? Should i ask them to change the gearbox oil as well?

torresism So far from what ive read, installing the UR/3Max bars would not void warranty.
Added on November 16, 2008, 10:01 pmHas anyone installed the anti-roll bar yet? I think this would be my next bar, next month.

Would the SC change my blm's air filter on the first service? Im at 1040km mileage rite now. Made appointment with them this coming sat. The guy tht i made appointment with told me i should bring a copy of my car grant . Any reason why would they need my car grant? Anyone experienced this b4? SiuYi Yea offset, the difference between the center line of the rim and the bolt face. Is the offset important when looking for rims for our blm?

My blm also got sound but very seldom. The sound comes from the aircond vent i think. It sounds like metal rattling and last for a few seconds. This happens when changing 1st gear to 2nd gear or 2nd gear to 3rd gear.
