QUOTE(Aishiteru^Suki @ Jan 1 2009, 10:38 PM) Eh when did you buy ur set? yesterday?? are u the one with your girldfriend?? the guy who bought white n79 with white cover?? Hehe that was me dude. =D I'm loving the phone but it's a little buggy in my opinion. I'm waiting on the new firmware. Taking ages for asia. Or am I doing it wrong? Anyone know how to update to the new v11 one? Care to give some pointers? =) This post has been edited by chinook: Jan 1 2009, 11:10 PM

I guess i'll just wait then. I can't read chinese but all that force-flashing and whatnot seems pretty difficult.

QUOTE(Aishiteru^Suki @ Jan 1 2009, 11:32 PM) Ahh it was u lol my gf so far is satisfied with her n79.. though sometimes she still thinking of changing to tube.. ow is it a little buggy? care to share? maybe i can ask my gf later see whether she's experiencing it or not.. It's a little slow for one, and my camera went a little nuts last night at a party but was alright after a reset. 3 of my pictures came out completely white. It also hung on me once today. Other that that, the phone's pretty much perfect. Best part is the new navi-wheel. Feels a lot like my old iPod. My fren's N81 navi-wheel just plain sucks but the N79 wheel is a really big improvement. Owh guys, I just wanna ask... when you hold the menu key down, your active applications will appear right? What applications do you guys have on by default? Mine has 'menu' and 'standby' on at all times but my fren's S60 phone only has 'standby' and I can't seem to close my 'menu' app.

I was a little disappointed too that I can't use the LED as a flashlight. My old W810 could do it and it was really handy.

hey guys. Do your n79's naviwheel light up when in use? mine doesnt. it's just blank when it's dark. it only lights up when the keypad is locked for the 'breathing' effect.

Guys, do your phones lag when u access the photoviewer? When I access the viewer, it takes like 10 seconds for the 1st photo to focus properly. Before that it's really blurry. Happens to all photos I have. I have to wait a while before I can view them.
Is this a normal thing or is there something wrong?

yeah. I did the 10 second wait thing. It works but when I scroll through photos they're still not 100% clear instantly. Still need 2 wait around 2-3secs.
