aight thanks for clearing that up for me.
but also, is there any significant/noticeable difference in speed between those 2 phones (n79 & 82) ?
bro, the speed difference is not much...perhaps 82 will hv some advantages in graphic processing due to dual processor. if we think another way, can a normal hp run very complicated 3D graphic? the answer will be no.. so the graphic processor in 82 is more like secondary processor to deliver more juice when u running games or other graphic intense program. in certain extend, it might faster than n79 which has only 1 cpu. but then again, the 82 is running older symbian OS. The keypoint is whether the older symbian fully take advantage of dual processor. does it optimize for multi tasking? this 1 i not sure as i not the owner of 82 or the engineer who design it.. haha..
anyway, i didnt notice major lag when i use n79. if u turn on many program and run it in background then will be different story. u will suffer major lag or even hang.. eg. switch on music player and view photo simultaneously. this is because arm processor is not that powerful to perform multitasking.
unlike intel processor, normal hp processor only deal with 1 thread at a moment. SP2 in n79 has been optimize to maximize the capability of the processor and prolong the battery life. thus, with the combination of software and hardware a slower hp also can tweak to become faster hp
all i say is more to theory side. u still have to test it by urself to figure out which 1 is faster.. haha.. as long as it's not very lag then will be good enough.
