pray to god after few hours of burn in it'll be better..

Thanks for you post, this calm my soul a lil.. because after 30 hrs of burning in, it still can't beat my Senn PMX-60, feels like a thin cloth is covering the bijou's mid and high, i was getting a lil anxious.

My right earphone sometimes mute and got no sound at all, i have to twist the wire anti clockwise then it's back to normal, is it normal to be like that? O.O

It could be the audio jack problem, did you try plug it in another device and see if got similar issue.

After 80 hrs of burn in, the soundstage improved a lil bit and muddiness become a lil clearer. I notice that now the female high pitch sssssssss (like you want to say "sound" but drag the "s" sound for a little longer) sound is too sharp it somehow hurt my ear. My 4yrs old PMX-60 still perform better overall.
More burn in! more!!!

I burn in for more than 100 hours, how long does it require?
120hours now, while overall improve a lil bit more, but still the staging is not good. some instrument sound will another background instrument sound and singer voice is somehow feel like the singer is singing behind a veil but the music instrument is playing in front of the veil, not stand out enough. Is it the expected sound signature?

I'm a previous user of sennheiser PMX-60, could i be expecting too much? but i think if PMX-60 is selling now, it could be a lil bit cheaper than bijou.

After about 300 hours of burn in........ thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
it is kinda magic. i didn't notice it at first because i always use bijou in office.
Today i take bijou home to try with my FiiO amp. When compare side by side with PMX60, really feel the difference now.
sound stage and clarity is now much better than my Sennheiser PMX-60! PMX60 sounds FLAT compared to bijou, like the instruments and voice cramp together (aka Staging), bass response is definately better than PMX-60 because bijou is in-ear.

Well, it took 300hours to realize it's potential for me. smile.gif

too bad FiiO amp didn't work too well for bijou.

It's single driver. dual driver is implemented property can improve the details because each driver have limited frequencies to respond to. if only 1 driver, it has to produce all the frequencies.
but if dual driver not implemented properly, it will have resonance.. sound loudness not equal across the spectrum. IMO.

btw.. 1 downside with bijou.. the ear tip sux. lol. any recommendations?
