Hello all...mine is a 2001 waja..
I have 1 problem...is that since the beginning, the alarmkey..needs to be very close only can on..In other words, i have to place the key right above the bonet then only can unlock the car...is there anything that can be done? Very troublesome during rainy days..get wet not because of going to the car, but get wet trying to open the car. Thanks alot.. |

QUOTE(b48753 @ Dec 4 2008, 12:06 PM) Maybe the switch already wear out. It's common for it. Go to PESB and buy a alarm key replacement. Cost you RM58 if not mistaken. no wo..the switch is working(everytime press, the light on the switch lights up)...just that i have to go REAL close to the car..like right beside the bonet.. |

QUOTE(BridgestoneRE711 @ Dec 4 2008, 01:19 PM) the sensor is under the black rubber map under the center console . steps to open it . I cant find a why to pry it off after unscrewing it..pry open the rubber mat , u will see a screw . unscrew it . then the whole U shape flow from the middle console to the gear console is helded with clips . just pry it off . then u will see the alarm antenna inside the compartment there . my waja alarm can be received from 20m away after extended it. |

QUOTE(tplcaik @ Dec 10 2008, 08:01 AM) If new waja price is affordable,u can direct Proton Lancer evolution alr. Actually do we need to reprogram it at workshop?uninstall battery will reset the ECU but u still need to get a good setting from workshop. Mine recently battery kaput and ECU reset..then the car is quite jerky for awhile then now smoothen out by itself already. So, is there anything extra that can be archieved from setting it at the workshop? Sorry if it sounds stupid.just trying to learn. |
