QUOTE(tHeRiDdLeR @ Dec 4 2008, 07:09 AM) best denki klcc price dv410 - rm399 dv600 - rm999 (free hdmi cable + 3 years extended warranty) there is 1 shop at pnb darby park quote me rm530 for dv310. why expensive ??. the guy told me, this player have been modified by their technicians to produce better sound than ori set. i just browsed pioneer malaysia website and i cant locate 'dv410' dvd player.. but i did find DV-410V-S(-K).. is this the player you are referring to? does it support external subtitle file loading from the usb drive? QUOTE(karyeowl @ Dec 4 2008, 09:04 PM) Both the LG 298 and the newer 3** can't play avi movies from thumbdrive. I have tried it and it just can't recognise any avi files. I have the Philips 5996. It can play avi file from thumbdrive and also my WD Passport. However, it seem not able to detect file greater than 1GB. how can u say cannot bro?? i currently OWN the 298H and i've been watching the latest torrents movies and us tv series downloaded from the net..

could be brand related.. i am using LG too.. when i play movies from my usb thumbdrive it jerks badly on some scenes.. i even tried playing those movies on one of the fastest USB drives in the world (read Corsair Flash Voyager GT) but it still jerks.. whoever looking for dvd player that can play divx movies from usb drive and outputs tru hdmi 1080i upscaling, get either pioneer or philips.. dont buy LG! LG takes ages to load the movie from thumbdrive and on some scenes it jerks!!.. This post has been edited by reef_d: Dec 18 2008, 06:17 PM
