How far should I disassemble my PSP to if I want to take out the trim?
I cant remove the wifi and power button currently.

Just manage to remove the LCD screen, don't really dare to go on further, need some clarification first.

sorry, you cant pry it directly. and that link you gave dont give me the permission to enter. gotta register first eh? sweat.gif
the wifi switch is soldered onto the motherboard, so you'll need to take the psp apart since its located on the underside of the motherboard.
1st Q: i think that is the one, but i dont know about the model. burned my led once. try asking him about 0603 SMD leds. i think he got that kind of led. icon_rolleyes.gif
2nd Q: yes it is. nod.gif but its advisable to keep the led number below 4 for each speaker if you wanna do stereo led mod. it'll affect the sound quality.

So I just take out the motherboard then ok rite?

Ya, planning to paint the trim first before doing any other mods.
I think it's better to remove the mobo 1st, just in case biggrin.gif

Not sure is the correct place to ask or not, where can I get the screws replacement and the analog module replacement for psp1000?

Lost a screw accidentally when i disassemble it and the analog seems having some problem as well.
