So many complaints and only one posted makes sense.

How does it work? This layer 7 packet sniffing?

TM don't just start throttling torrent last month.. they have been doing it for 2yrs.

We used to get good ping to wow till somewhere end of July 08 i too noticing slowly increasing in ping till today even after the registry fix. From 300~ to now 450~ usual... even on the those few ip subnet that was once OK for wow...

now this one makes a lot better sense

Hi Guys,

Just want to share what I have. I made tracert result to WoW Realm and then forward the result to Teleglobe.net support personnel.

They replied and mentioning that I should talk to TMNET to have better load balancing. Maybe we all can try this, and send the feedback to TMNET 2nd line support to request for improvement.

This is the tool that i use to make Trace Route to WoW Realm : http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/
==============================================

Hi,

It appears that one of TM NET interface with us is saturating while the other
is not. TM NET should be able to better load balance their traffic with us
to provide a better customer experience.

Best regards,

Charles.

I will not call TMNET support, because i have done that many time, what they do is, they send some technical guy, come to your house, check your wiring then they said your connection is ok (because you can surf and result from Speedometer is good), line is ok, and their job done.  vmad.gif
I filed a complain to MCMC. I think all of us which having the same problem should file a complain too.  brows.gif

2 days later someone from MCMC call me and 2 more days later TMNET support call me and i email them the WinMTR result with the reply from Teleglobe.net.

Hopefully, with more complain, they will improve. So, maybe all LYN online gamer should complain. If we don't voice up, then no body knows except LYN forumer. We complain, MCMC refer complain to TMNET, and TMNET did call me and at least we are try telling them, WE ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THEM!

If still nothing change, then BYE BYE TMNUT!

Here is the URL to file a complain. We are consumer which paying RM99 a month for 1MB line and we have the right to voice up. Don't be afraid, just fill in the form and let them know the lousy quality. They will not put you to jail by just complaining the quality of internet service.  tongue.gif

What IP do you get?

In Kepong area, i only manage to get:
118.100.*.* - at least 500ms - 3000ms
118.101.*.* - at least 500 ms - 3000ms
124.*.*.*    - at least 600ms - 5000ms

I am using 1MB. I tried Lowerping or Gamepath. Didn't help me.
*
