I'm screwing around with DFI Lanparty JR P45-TS2R and seems like this motherboard requires more voltage to overclock. The chipset is hotter than Asus P5Q Deluxe and I have to slap a Evercool 40mm fan on it to help with the cooling. I've checked other websites that you need 1.45-1.55v for the northbridge to achieve 1600mhz or higher FSB. Still testing for optimal settings.
Try this:
Voltage Settings
CPU VID Special Add……+75mV
DRAM Voltage Control……2.100V
SB Core/CPU PLL Voltage……1.52V
NB Core Voltage……1.2825V
CPU VTT Voltage……1.20V
Vcore Droop Control……Enabled
Clockgen Voltage Control……3.45V
CPU GTL 0/2 REF Volt……0.63x
CPU GTL 1/3 REF Volt……0.63x
North Bridge GTL Ref Volt……0.63x
Works really well for my P45 board.
Thxs tristanX, may i know what's ur Temps on ur Q9450@3.2ghz on IFX?
i'm using IFX with 1 FM123, stock clock 2.66ghz, min avr 44, load some cores can reach 60c, the chipset is >60c already lol
how u mount the 40mmfan on the cipset bro? can show me some pics?
