I am not sure mate... might wanna do a search on other photo websites, otherwise call one of the few stores that will accept a trade in and see what they offer you. Usually the actual price you can sell for is slightly higher.
No it does not AF. ALL Lenses with "AF-S" will AF on the D40/X/60. Anything without "AF-S" will not.

Need advise from sifu around here.

My new D60 sensor got dust inside from day one. Even the auto cleansing cannot remove the dust. Tested using two diff lens to confirm the dust is inside the camera and not on the lens.

Question is, should I bring it back to the shop (J-One) I bought the camera or back to Nikon Service Center to clean it? If back to Nikon to clean it, how long will it take?

the only nikon dslrs that can't autofocus with AF-lenses are the D40/x and D60. Everything else u can autofocus with the lens.

What D means is that it has an aperture ring. Which means you can operate the aperture manually.

1=1...
D is not the aperture ring availability...
D is to signify that the lense have distance capability to be used with metering...
G = no aperture ring...

i dun think so, but im sure thats not it...kenrockwell has some explanation in his web maybe..

most now...lenses are with D...
so makes no sense to go without...unless u can find a second hand one for cheap...
however...pic quality is not based on the distance capabilities...its on the lense elements...

You using D40/x/D60 ? If so, do you know AF-D can't AF on your camera ?
