Hello guys, I've been looking at a D60 for quite sometime now. I've been reading up a lot too. As I've never used a DSLR, but I'm really interested to take up and learn photography as a hobby. And I've made up my mind to get a D60 as a start.

Any recommendation for a place to get a brand new 1, anyone knows a shop with a knowledgeable and friendly enough to let me know every pros and cons hands on? I know, I've also compared and read reviews at dpreview.

Please do let me know the place that gives the best offer, sharing knowledge, etc via pm or this thread.

Thanks!

Hello guys.

I just picked up my D60 last Friday. Been learning to shoot some basic stuff. Hope to come in here and learn more!

Hello all, a quick question.

I snapped pictures at FINE quality so the average jpeg file will be around 4mb. What programs do you guys use to resize the photo without much loss of the quality of the photo? I tried some programs and suffered a lot of image quality loss.

Edit: And I most are using FLICKR as a online storage. Any reason for that? I'm currently using photobucket as it gives more space and has direct image HTML link which is a lot easier for me to post on my blog.

thanks in advance.

I use Flickr mainly because its easy to use, and it has a great community of fantastic photographers smile.gif

As for resizing the pics, well Flickr does that automatically as well! tongue.gif

Thanks for quick reply. But as far as I know, Flickr only has 100mb free storage. And 4mb per file takes a little too long to upload.

Anyone uses other methods?
