QUOTE(mwkh_hope @ Dec 8 2008, 10:24 PM) I am using D40. I don't really think necessary for me to use battery pack because it kind of bulky and heavy. I more confortable with changing the battery. It just take a few second to change it. Just my 2 cent. QUOTE(Gorgan @ Dec 11 2008, 01:31 AM) Hello~~ I am considering d60 as my 1st dslr as I found my s210 kinda at its limits already. One question I want to ask, can d60 take/"recharge" fast after each photo taking? I don't know what is the term for that, but, you get what I trying to say right? hehe~ sorry for not able to be clear~ Bro,What I mean is, after you take a photo, the camera have to take some time to process the photo into digital then only I can take another photo right? Is d60 fast enough? Or should I put it this way, how fast (second) is the d60 when it comes to processing? thx~~ This is DSLR. Of course it is much2 faster than P&S. It only have 1/3 second delay which is mean it can take 3 photo in 1 second. The start up time also very fast which is 0.19 second (From the website). Hope that answer your question. Do mind update us with your checkup and place you do. I also plan to check my D40. It seem to have a dust in viewfinder. However the photo is good.

QUOTE(ahhoe80 @ Dec 22 2008, 02:07 PM) thanks for the advice buddy. It actually depend on what type of picture you want to take. If you want to take picture of animal in the outdoor, 55-200 is better. But if you want to take picture indoor, i recomend you to stick with kit lens plus speedlight. You need wide lens to take picture indoor IMHO.Thinking deep. The memory card thing is true. Nothing to nego about too as its not a huge thing and can always buy. better nego for better price on the gear itself better right? hmm.. I am a beginner in DLSR. should i go for this lens u mentioned or stick with kit lens enud edi? then buy a speedlight ? |

There is different between SLR and Prosumer camera. Quality of image is slightly better due to lens. However it actually depend on the person itself. For me, I never use prosumer and only use D40. I really satisfy with the image quality but sometime I miss the video function of P&S camera.
