I've been using my Nikon P5000 (P&S With P/S/A/M) mode for 2 years and I find that I have used it to the maximum limits a P&S served.
I'm looking forward to upgrade to DSLR but then my budget only allows me to get the D60 with Kit Lens (brand new).
Somehow, I would like to equip the D60 with a lens suitable for shooting those short DOF picture with the subject in clear crisp but the background in blur. I got to know that I need a lens with low F-stop, and so far for non-macro lens, the standard zoom lens go as low as f2.8.
FYI, I am planning to get this cam to do shooting from sky while paragliding in tandem (means i piggyback only, the instructor is maneuvering). I know wide angle and zoom never meets, if met with an all round lens also with serious trade offs in quality for certain zoom range...
Can recommend a lens which are value for money, leaning towards the cheap side, that can have zoom higher than 55mm, f-stop of 2.8? Oh yeah, with VR or Stabilization on lens coz the D60 don't have inbody stabilization.
I've browsed DPREVIEW until mouse also wanna smoke but still got no idea which one serves the purpose...hahaha
