Hrmm am i the only weird one who went from a d40 to a d300 to g9 and back to a d40 tongue.gif

Just realised the whole macro setup will still cost me close to RM7k. And R1C1 is out of stock. This is ridiculous!

Well D40 is small and plastic. D300 is big and magnesium alloy. Of course ler it feels different.

if u must know...
i print my shots on 8R and above for the good ones...
so yeah i need sharpness from center to edge...

y do i even bother explaining to u...
after all...it's my money....
i buy wat I like...
for watever reason....

Exactly. It's your money. And not all people print big. So no point in poisoning everyone to get a Nikkor if they can't afford it. I'd love one too but i can't justify the price tag just for a hobby.

p/s: Have you found out where D300 ISO button is ?

Well you were one of the first people in Malaysia to own it and you owned it for months before upgrading to D3 and you don't even have a clue that it had an ISO button. Maybe i just want to point out that people shouldn't listen to a person that only know to poison people mindlessly to buy the most expensive gear but you yourself don't even know what's what. And i thought you mentioned downgrading back to D300. smile.gif

p/s: I can spell just fine. It's just that ISO is one of the basics of exposure together with aperture and shutter speed. If you don't even know where the button is or what it does, then no point in owning even a D3. But then again i guess you never use manual ISO control. Luckily Nikon Auto ISO is smart enough that no matter how thick the people are, they can still use the camera. smile.gif

actually... my interpretation of what joseph is trying to say it that yr nor maximising/fully utilizing yr gears that other peole dun have so he wants you to appreciate it... but then... since you stated in the later posts that you just took up photography for fun and because you bought it because you just liked and can afford it, then i guess theres nothing more to argue about...

Yes i'm jealous. The world is cruel. Those with great skills uses low end camera. Those with high end camera just owns the camera for the sake of bragging.
I myself is underutilising my D300. Thinking of downgrading to D90 lol. But i'll take your advice xandman. I'll work hard but i'll probably spend the money elsewhere.
To be honest i was just making fun of you cause you didn't have a clue that the D300 have an ISO button. It's so obvious that it's up there.
But I had my fun shooting you so i'll stop trolling.

Lastly i dedicate this to whoever relevant.

War over already? Damn. Anyway, all wide angle will distort in a way or another. It's just that the Sigma distortion is so much that's it's almost fisheye. It's a love hate relationship. It's great for landscape but don't ler use it to shoot people. If you use any wide angle to shoot group photo the people at the edge will look phat. It's just the characteristic of an UWA lens. You can only fix it in Photoshop. If you're getting the Tokky it's fine but no need to kutuk Sigma blindly.

Here let me help you puke some more. laugh.gif

Using P mode doesn't make you pathetic. Using M mode all the time doesn't make you a pro. It all depends on the shooting situation and what you want to achieve.
