either SB900 (expensive, but once and for all, don think of change or buy more liao) or Nissin Di622(cheaper alternative...tahan for sometime) biggrin.gif

just want to ask..i want to get a lens 18-200 or 18-105 ...what brand is good?sigma?nikkor?its for my d60..
*
depends whether u want to run to the full length
i own 18-200
and i compared with 18-135 later...the final range of zoom really differ not by much (for eyes la...)
if u always wanna shoot something from distance...then go for longer 1 lo.....
in a crowd....18-105 actually sounds sufficient

for sigma/nikkor....alot ppl will suggest u go for sigma for cost as if it is cheaper at below 2k, while nikkor above
but they never mention that nikkor has VR, and for Sigma version with IS, it is closer to nikkor price too....
hence...unless u think u don need image stabilizer... then go for Sigma version tat is below 2k
else....go for nikkor wit VR, or u can consider tamron 18-270 +VC
these superzoom for sure not perfect...but overall OK, if u don ask too much....if u ask for more...better go for like 24-70 F/2.8, 70-200 F/2.8

word of advice? Superzoom better get 1 with IS/VR/VC

hey guys.

im new in the DSLR world and i got a few question.

between a D40 and D60,

which one is the best???

i read a review saying that D60 is a spec down of the D40 but with more pixel and high reso...................im really in a doubt now on getting the D40.

any advice??
*
got budget, go D90
don mind 2nd hand, and less budget, D80
not really like to do post-processing, D60
budget constraint, 2nd hand D40/60

some of my friends really do use M even when they first time use SLR. they sau they learnt faster. i guess its preferential then smile.gif
*
use M and control everything by urself do can help...
since u gonna try a lot of range of shutter speed, ISO, aperture, compensation....etc
once a while i still switch to M if i cant get the light i want in A/S
