I'd like to get one too, they're usually cheap and easy to get, but they require drilling, and that's one thing I don't wanna do (or someone would not let me do) to my door frames

I went to a metal shop, found a cold pressed 35MM diameter metal bar. Extremely strong, about 5 feet in length. Got it welded straight away, quick 5 minute job and brought it back. Drilled four holes in the wall, screwed the nut in and filled it up with a particular epoxy and covered the holes.
So far I've used it for; -back levers -muscle up -kipping pull-ups (to the region of 20 reps) -weighted pull-ups (with 35KGs) -ring dips (with an ring attachment) Total cost, RM35. Metal shops, FTW. |
