guys, I have a D3 DAC but I dont know how to use them.

so it has 2 inputs, coaxial and optical. either of these are connected to a PC which identifies it as a soundcard right? the output are 2 coaxial, which I guess goes to an amp? the interconnect 2 would need to merge the 2 coaxial into a 3.5mm right which goes into the amp right?

First of all, does your PC has SPDIF output in either optical or coaxial?

Secondly, if you are planning to use D3 for PC, then I am sorry to tell you that you have bought the wrong DAC. You should have get the D5 (which support USB) instead. D3 is designed for TV that has SPDIF output or game console like PS3 / Xbox.

The two white and red 'coaxial' output are not coaxial at all. They are called RCA. The mini USB port is only for power, not for connecting to PC.

Facing some problems with my e7.. The lights seems to be faded after long use.. Can see VOL marks even on d screen.. May I know is there any way to fix the screen?

Frankly, out of the approximately 120 units sold to date, this is the first time with screen problem. Will consult with FiiO with this and revert as soon as possible

im not sure whether u remmeber me or not.. i bought d fiio e7 from uk and got some button problems.. and u gave me d replacement set for rm50 to claim a new set.. we deal in front of public bank building near klcc..

wondering what is the way to fix the screen? or cannot fix anymore?

Laptop/iPad. Driving my M50's mainly at home. A lot of acoustic, some rock and a bit of everything else.

PC > USB > FiiO E7/E17 > Headphones

LOL I know the setup. I mean, which would you recommend? I'm looking for accurate presentation and above-average soundstaging over everything else.

FiiO is well known for being transparent. It will reproduce faithfully your source without "adding" or "coloring" it

Thanks! Think I'll get the e17 sometime soon then. Erm.. What the difference between L1/L3 and L9 then?

L1 is just OFC cable while the L3/L9 are using PCOCC-A by Oyadie. L3 and L9 has a different cable exit points from the dock.

If i were to get E17, does that means that this device will act as an external sound card?

currently my laptop has an external sc from creative usb 5.1.

How should i handle this?

sigh guys,i accidentally disable the E7 on my pc,i click on the volume icon on the bottom right and disable it,how to re enable it arh?
