Any idea where to buy Alpha ceiling fan other than Lazada / Alpha HQ?

Hi everyone, just installed one panasonic bayu 4 fan, but when spinning it wobbles. How to fix it? Must use balancing or what? Unfortunately my wireman threw away the box along with the balancing studs

--Should have ask the installer to balance it on the first install. The balancing studs are just some stick on weight which can be bought at electrical shops.--will do this, thanks.


Also installed 3 deka fans, apparently came with lights (I didn’t know it has lights, the salesman didn’t say anything about lights) however the fan can not detect the remote. Any idea how to troubleshoot?

--can the remote change the speed of the fan? if so it could means the LED light on the fan is faulty. --- no the fans cannot detect the remote at all, for speed or lights
Also bought 2 kronos, after installation every time turn on the electric will short. Wireman said the fam is faulty, but I was told if I call the deka technician I will be charged even if it is under warranty, if they say it’s wrongly installed by wireman. However wireman insist there’s nothing wrong with their installation but the fan is faulty. Any ideas on this?

---these fan are straight forward install. ask the installer to recheck the wiring and earthing properly. BTW does the two fans have the same problem? if one only have the problem just swap the fan and see if the problematic fan will short when at the other outlet. If confirmed just take it back to  Deka for warranty. --- will do that. Thanks.

For wobbling fan, there are few ways you can tackle. First check the bolt and nut at the ceiling hook if it is loose or overtighten, tighten it just nice. From past experience, overtighten the bolt and nut can cause wobbling of fan as well, in a swing pendulum pattern.

Next, swap the blades sideway. Swap the blade next to each other and see if the wobbling continues.
Continue swapping if problem persist, but swapping blades at the opposite wont help as it s basically the same.

If methods above still fail, you can ask the tech team to come and they usually bring along few sets of extra blades just in case the wobbling continues. Sometimes there will be some motors that require a wee bit of extra weight of the blades to be super steady.
And most importantly, do not mix blades from different sets. As their weight are to be the same.

I was in Panasonic factory ceiling fan dept before, so hope this helps.

Is the installation done by their own panel installer or your own installer? If installed by your own installer, then suggest u get both to be on site at the same time in order to avoid finger pointing session later.

I'm using pana dc motor econavi fan too. Installation done by lighting installer. Zero wobbling.

I bought a few KDK fans (mixture of AC and DC models)...half of them were wobbling. I logged a report with KDK. They KDK guy came and fixed them. He even checked the other fans. Basically he checked every single KDK fan in the house. So, I guess depends on which technician you get. Not sure if Pana service might behave different but the guy that came to my house was pretty good and friendly.

Do you have to pay the technician?
