I regretted getting the remote control type.. the usual old regulator is a better option!  Reason being, most brands default the speed to 2nd level when you switch it on... and that is not my choice as I always wanted it as 1st speed..  So, now I have to 1) switch on the fan, 2) use the remote to turn it down to 1st speed...  hates it!

+ and this applies to eurouno and alpha remote controlled ceiling fans

panasonic or kdk. choose which is cheaper.

from the technical spec in web doesnt have much diff
personally i think more blade is cooler. get those ppg material blade.at least it wont rust

Panasonic will be more reliable? Actually just plan to use budget fan on the extra rooms.
Planning to get Rubine / Panasonic / NSB for the living and master bed room.

My KDK still working after 20 years , unfortunately i find their current designs bulky and lose out to Panasonic . Hence decided to settle for Panasonic.

I just installed new Panasonic ceiling fan 4 blades less than 1 month. It is terrible coz after 2 weeks installed it comes with rolling noise and after few days there was something "tik-tik-tik" while it spinning occasionally. I had woke up few times during midnight because of this sound suddenly turn loud.

I regret not buying KDK and will replace the panasonic fan with this soon. Who the hell can stand with the noise especially at midnight sleep. It was just 2 weeks and problem occurred, incredible fast. No more Panasonic fan to me.

Where can i find a fan that looks like this?

KDK 4 blade or 5 Blade which is better?
