You all will prefer the old conventional fan which u need to do on/off and change the speed manually OR using the remote controlled type?

QUOTE(numbertwo @ Nov 17 2011, 04:50 PM) I regretted getting the remote control type.. the usual old regulator is a better option! Reason being, most brands default the speed to 2nd level when you switch it on... and that is not my choice as I always wanted it as 1st speed.. So, now I have to 1) switch on the fan, 2) use the remote to turn it down to 1st speed... hates it! Is the fan speed slower compared with the conventional fan?+ and this applies to eurouno and alpha remote controlled ceiling fans |

Anyone using the Panasonic Bayu model or KDK Yuragi model?
Is the wind from them really different from our old model fan? |

I bought 5 units of KDK for my home. K15Y2 (V touch jr) if I am not wrong. Cheapest I found at Puchong. Go there and you wont be wrong. I felt stupid as I bought before I go there with my friend.

QUOTE(Kelv @ Apr 8 2016, 03:38 PM) Panasonic will be more reliable? Actually just plan to use budget fan on the extra rooms. KDK all the way bro.Planning to get Rubine / Panasonic / NSB for the living and master bed room. Their design is also nice and more lasting (but not as lasting as last time up to 10-20yrs). I bought 2 DEKA wall fan though as only DEKA has better looking wall fan. I expect them to have problem after 2yrs since a lot of poor comment on their brand. |

QUOTE(autodriver @ May 11 2016, 10:19 AM) I just installed new Panasonic ceiling fan 4 blades less than 1 month. It is terrible coz after 2 weeks installed it comes with rolling noise and after few days there was something "tik-tik-tik" while it spinning occasionally. I had woke up few times during midnight because of this sound suddenly turn loud. Not the brand problem.I regret not buying KDK and will replace the panasonic fan with this soon. Who the hell can stand with the noise especially at midnight sleep. It was just 2 weeks and problem occurred, incredible fast. No more Panasonic fan to me. Is the installer did not install properly. I have same issue for 2 out of 8 KDK fan I bought. Told my installer and he came to fix it and the sound is gone. |
