QUOTE(Jason @ Mar 4 2023, 02:27 AM) 1. DC quieter, power saving. Useful for bedrooms. 2. Don’t think much difference. Deka 5 blade way noisier than Panasonic 4 blade. Both move similar air just Deka is noisy doing it. 3. Panasonic/KDK. Aeratron! Personal experience.. Deka is cheap.. and noisy. Panasonic entry level remote model… cost bit more than Deka, significantly quieter than Deka. My own house won’t ever use Deka anymore. Aeratron - before I bought this fan I was scolding why fan cost as much as air con. But after using it, honestly it’s worth every ringgit. It is very quiet, and can move a lot of air. I’ve never set it to max speed before, mostly 1/3 speed and it’s sufficient. I had checked out for Aeratron...which one you meant, isit AE2,AE3 or FR?

QUOTE(Jason @ Mar 28 2023, 02:06 PM) Mine is AE3 in my living room. Most days don’t turn on a/c unless very humid. AE3 looks nice but expensive.Found one similar,Alpha Alkova. Is there any other fan similar to AE3 which is cheaper? This post has been edited by lankorn: Mar 30 2023, 06:47 AM

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 5 2023, 04:25 PM) I don't know, could be this Cosa series. Anyway, I won't think about Alpha brand anymore in the future. It seems like Alkova series is quite reliable. Not sure about other series.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Dec 7 2023, 12:10 AM) I think every brand also have good and bad. Those Alkova by Alpha is decent... just a bit pricey I second that.Alkova series is decent especially on the DC fan.

What is the correct method to install the ceiling fan to avoid wobbling? A)Assemble all part and hook to the mounting B)Assemble all the part except for the blades to be fixed after the motor assembly hooked to the mounting

Need some advice.I bought alkova series fan from shopee and fixed it on the hall myself.Everything is fine except for the fan is slightly wobbling during spin. What might be the issue, isit alignment? The manual ask to install the motor to the mounting first and then followed by the blades which i find very difficult in this way. What is the correct way to install the ceiling fan without wobbling issue?
Another one,i want to buy a fan might be 3/5 blades for a small room which should be less than 56" to avoid shadows. This room is for guest with baby to sleep and the ceiling is not so high(9.5 ft).Im not installing AC for the moment because of the window is fixed nako with partially opened and so high(at night insect will appear once light turned ON),i need a windy fan so that the baby wont feel hot.Have to deal with the window later.Need some recommendations on which fan is suitable for this purpose.

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 21 2025, 11:57 AM) If you don't want to fix the wobble yourself, ask Alpha to send technician fix for you for free. Whatsapp their business account +60 12-379 5555. I bought 5 fans and 3 of them are wobbling after installed by my renovation contractor. Today they are coming to fix the wobbling issue. I want to learn and master the perfect fan installation because i might buy the fan from online in future. One of the fan installed by my contractor also wobbling.Isit really free for the technician to come and fix this? For the wiring i have no problem..From the manual it said to install the motor to the ceiling first then later fix the blades. This way is hard because you need 2 people to install, one to hold the blade and another to fix the screw.Im not sure will it still wobble if fix as per the manual.I have no assistant and need to fix it by me alone .
