hello, guys it is not about the fan brand, kdk, panasonic, national, alpha, elmark, deka or any remote fan has a sensitive electronic pcb inside, these pcb's can easily get spoilt or burst due with a small lightning strike...to avoid lightning stike our house earth wiring must be very good....before i made a new earth for my house wiring i was always losing my kdk fans for every lightning...my wireman hit down two long copper rod down the soil and connected a wire to my house mainboard, from there it has been 6 years and none of my electronics at home r getting spoilt...so guys repair your earth connection it is not because of what brand fan you all use...
