Do not be fooled by the branding.
In 2014, I bought a 2014 Bayu 4. This is OK until today.

After some years and a certain factory initiate extreme cost cutting..
*I've a 2018 Pana windless wonder Bayu 4. It is the biggest regret buying it (I got it from top ten Puchong).
Installed 2019 due to only VP in 2019. Had no idea it was such a lemon. Out of warranty.

Initially installed in living room. Windless. Took down.
Installed in bedroom. Windless. Took down.
Installed in smallest room. Windless also. Gave up uninstalling and installing it.
Anyone want to buy this Bayoo 4 windless wonder? I sell 40% off full set including box and receipt and all the screws (40% off from whatever shopee/lazada electrical store/dealer price). Hardly used (total runtime probably less than 5 weeks in its lifespan)

Windless=set to max speed can't even blow a tissue off the table.
No other fan is so windless (even those 3 blade regulator ones are much better).
Suspect the blade design is wrong from the factory but too poor to launch an investigation or class action lawsuit 

The 10-20 bucks of savings from the KDK equivalent (300 dollar 4 blade remote fan) is NOT worth saving.
Once gotten a lemon Bayoo 4 it is hard to dispose off.

KDK (especially the higher ranges Vtouch Jr/Sensa 4)
Bayoo 4  TBH, much as we have complains about deka, our old deka (soon to be scrapped because of bearing noise after at least 12 years old) produces more wind anytime than the Bayoo 4.

*since then, every single fan is KDK and never failed to blow tissues all around the place.

If u have budget constraint, then how about the old school regulator type? Instead of remote. They're much cheaper and durable

Why not Alpha? You have plenty of choices to choose from with your budget and they come with good looking design.

KDK K14XZ PBR will work fine for a sub 300 bucks range (remote fan).
Next step is Vtouch Jr (405 bucks for the yuragi and ABS blade).

Although, price-performance value (if in store room or guest room that hardly used) that 60" regulator (due to the 60") has very good "cfm per dollar". 

They don't have the long history of KDK or Panasonic, but pretty established local brand with presence over 20 years++ in Malaysia.

Reliability wise, you have to ask around since every people have different story, but after sales service should be good since they are Malaysian based company. I was convinced to buy Alpha due to my sister's experience using Alpha in her house for the past 10 years. So far no major problem and the fans still running fine even though some of the parts has been replaced over the time. With proper care (like my sister & brother in law did), the fan still looks like brand new after 10 years, not even color faded. But then hers was glossy black colour, not white as white might become yellowish after some time.

ABS blades, OK good to go.
Alpha fan OK.
D*** fan not so. 

If space permitting, don't put the downlight holes so close to the fan blade zone, then there will be no disco effect.

LED fan is a solution when (only one combined light/fan point) or space not permitting. However w.r.t replacement of the light bulb..

Nowadays that trend evolved to "dont' want lights on the fan". The light will be static (as it is mounted on the center core). Even your normal remote type ceiling fan w/o lights, the core ("dinner plate" is also static). Note: for regulator fan the core is NOT static.

Should be ok, ABS blade will have sufficient wind. Bigger 46in if space fits. Smaller one may need to run speed 3 or 4 to match air delivery of bigger one at speed 2.

Should not be a significant difference between 52 and 54.
However for this particular model Spitfire 246 aka KL101 there are a few things to note:
1. It is exceptionally heavy at 13.4kg (typical fans ard 7-8kg).
2. No spec sheet or mention about KL101/KL / Spitfire 246 on the FB.

4. In the past there were 17 models recalled in SG https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/17-e...-problems-found so now you will see a SG model list and a Malaysian model list in the website. They list a lot of other model but their site seems to "forgot" about this model?
5. No spec w.r.t airflow/air delivery (cfm)

Hence IMO Alpha better (hardly see any recall or -ve).

What is the energy rating for those fan? Like you, I'm also searching for fan for my first house.

Quite afraid to get the fan with remote type. Afraid if it is not last longer compared to regulator type.

I think Alpha Cosa is a good choice. I did consider Alpha Cosa too last time. But because I malas, I would prefer 3 blades than 5 blades for easier cleaning chores. 2 extra blades per fan, that would be 12 extra blades to clean

the service apartment that I'm staying right now using Alpha Fan and looks ok.

Now undecided to go with KDK K14Z or Alpha Cosa after ready this thread and all the comments in here

Should be a great choice so far have a couple of friends using their fans, no complains

And also, does anyone know why Cosa series is quite similar to some of the model in Alpha Fan series? Not entirely same but the design is quite similar. Looks like Alpha Fan series have slightly more features like higher no. of speed settings, but not that commonly sold in Shopee as to compared to Cosa series.
