Changed all 5 capacitors on 2 PC boards in Pudu area yesterday. Parts cost $56 for 2 sets. Soldering cost $60. Seems pricey but now my fans spin quietly. Hope it helps.

QUOTE(Refuzed @ Feb 14 2017, 05:06 PM) Soldering soo mahal? I thought some of them might do it for free No free lunch friend. You also don't work for free right? Haha. Main thing is the fans are fixed.

QUOTE(Alert_RaZO @ Feb 18 2017, 04:13 PM) Thanks ozak. Change the capacitor very cheap. Labour charge only RM5. After change the capacitor and another one. Problem still persist. Still tik tak sound and no spinning after on the switch. Do i need to re programme the remote? Richard [attachmentid=8499983] I'm not sure what your problem could be, I replaced all of my capacitors. I don't think it's anything to do with the remote control. I think it might be time to call in the technician. This post has been edited by dickybird: Feb 18 2017, 08:00 PM

QUOTE(Richard @ Feb 19 2017, 12:43 PM) You do know that you can get a quality iron c/w stand + solder + resin flux for the price you paid for labour? Don't know how to solder nor want to buy the gear for diy soldering.

Bought a cheap Faber 60 inch regulator fan to replace the squealing KDK RC ceiling fan. See how it goes.
