Alpha Q16 fans any good? How much are those selling now? How much is the KDK sensa 4 selling now? Quite hard to find KDK fans now in Penang Island (except Baby fan), and LSS salesperson discouraged me from getting Panasonic fans as they say they got a lot of defects and service issues with them. They recommend to go for alpha instead of KDK and Panasonic. Seems peculiar.

Is Sensa 4 the cheapest fibre blade fan that KDK has to offer? So far the cheapest I found for Sensa 4 is around that range, but I only manage to get it from PG mainland. Most shops in PG island they say ma fan have to order, wait and pay more bla bla bla bla It seems that alpha fan is harder to install compared to other fans as their blade requires 3 screws instead of 2 screws according to the electric shop here. Is alpha fan quality good? Cuz my friend's alpha fan's blade just broke apart recently. It was replaced for free, I wonder is it a quality issue or its just a freak defect batch.

My KDK baby fan seems to wobble a bit even though the installer already adjusted quite a number of times. Could a "senget" ceiling be the culprit? The installer told me that my ceiling is not straight. But when the fan is running at speed 3 (max speed) there's no alarming sound lah, just can see the "nose" wobble around in small circles This post has been edited by SnoWFisH: Nov 30 2010, 09:11 PM
