hi guys, im going to start installing fans soon to my new place, so i'm quite new to this
for the measurements so will fit nicely into the ceiling, i need to look at 2 things rite?
- the diameter of the fan (usually 56" and 58")
- the length of which the fan will hang down from ceiling

the diameter i understand but the height of the fan usually is given on the fan specification rite? on the box? from one end to another? or just reach the blades? sorry quite new in this sorta thing

Edit : I'm amazed at how bad DEKA sales is. Called in and the lady who answers is so blur about everything. When I asked about contact person / dealer for Sabah & Sarawak, she told me she give me the one who does transport. Transport!! what the heck do you connect me to transport? Then I ask is the transport person in charge of import and export, yes. Okay, feel i'm not gonna talk much more to her I called to the 'transport'
A lady answered, she said Sabah & Sarawak no dealers, only got middle man, so she promised me to sms me his contact. One day passed, nothing so i reminded her, replied with just the name and company, not his contact no. so i sms'ed her again. that's today so im still waiting. Duno why she gave info also half half one, how to contact?

I think I won't be getting Deka soon. not I dun wan but i think they dun wan our business for this side...

not really sure oh, just a reply from another forumner
i have no experience in this also, but gonna buy and put up ceiling fan for my apartment also soon
prolly you should wait other sifus that may have better ideas on this
