Yes its basically a function to simulate natural breeze pattern.
Normal motor will run at the same speed all the time eg 180rpm all the way.
This yuragi vary it (example) 140-210 rpm so it wont be overly chilling and got some variation feeling.

ok bro. thanks for the explanation bro biggrin.gif

Sis actually.  smile.gif

Aside from the yuragi fx, the more exp KDKs beyond the basic 300 bucks range of remote fans,
the vtouch jr and sensa 4 have 3D ABS plastic blades (better angle for better airflow).

vtouch jr got yuragi and the ABS blades for approx 405 bucks.
AC motor and 5 speed.
I think only available in grey colour.
This is already very good for living or bedroom usage sans the "nice to haves". AC motor being brushless also tend to last longer than brushed DC motor. The diff in power usage for ceiling fan is negligible. ROI in decades to make up the RM100+ difference (AC vs DC fan).

sensa 4 got yuragi, ABS blades, DC motor, room sensor to auto adjust the speed according to temp and 9 speed for approx 515 bucks.
A few colour choices available.
Best for living room to flex on instagram (or when shopee CC discount voucher need min purchase RM500). If you can get this nett after disc in the 400-450 price range on 3.3 etc then its very good.

Fans are relatively safe to buy online as the whole thing is protected internally with foam pieces to withstand crushing.
Aircon OTOH are a bit scary to buy online as the AC box only protected the ends of the IDU, and top/bottom of ODU (middle sections where the cooling fins are, can be subject to damage)

Thanks for the explanation sis.
Just like you mentioned. "flex on Instagram". i thjink i will go with the sense 4. biggrin.gif
the downside is sensa 4 is DC motor? you mentioned AC motor being brushless last longer than Dc motor?

Any shop recommended in puchong area selling kdk vtouch 5? I found 1 shop selling Rm485 but no stock..
*
I survey Shopee and lazada

Sensa 4 is about RM 500
V touch jr is about RM 400

need to add about RM 20 for deliver (per fan)

so it is best to buy in shops I guess. RM 485 is good price. you might can check out along alan Bpu 6, Bandar Puchong Utama. there got quite a lot of fan & light shop

Curious question to ask all sifu here.
From the drawings below, it is advisable to buy 56" or 60" fan if I want to install the fan at the center of the hall. about at the area on top of my dining table.

So that I can get wind too at my sofa and fridge area too.

Uhhh.. one problem..1 fan cannot cover all unless its those huge ones in Setiawalk or MRT station. Not so practical
Between 56 and 60in.. form vs function
because whilst the 60in regulator price to performance is very good, it doesn't look so nice.

Remote fan.. if you can fit in 60" in the wind is generally better vs 56" due to longer blade
Comparing between sensa 5 (60") is 8652 cfm vs sense 4 is 7946 cfm. About 9% more airflow.

Ideally you can go with 2x 56" or 60" fans to cover the sofa/TV and dining table space respectively
and if you're concerned about kitchen heat buildup, use exhaust fan at the window and panel up the window with clear plastic sheet so the exhaust fan work beautifully.

for this basically don't put them too close together

Thanks for the knowledge sis.
i consulted my plaster ceiling contractor.
he said that if I choose to go for 56 and place it on top of the sofa area and the dining table area, the downlight might kena the fan blade and might have light strobbing disco effect.

Any tips from sifu on what should I do?

It depends on the light beam angle. In 1995 they were using narrow beam downlight (bulb type), as long as the bulb doesn't stick out (short enough) it won't glare.

In our case per my pic, I would say the distance from fan blade sweep to the four main downlight holes areabout 40cm edge to edge, and there is a circular recess to shorten the relative distance from (ceiling height where the downlights are located) vs (fan blade distance from ceiling where lights are located).. in a way giving the same result as fans with very short rod. Don't have disco effect.
*
wow. thanks for this picture.
From your picture, I also tot that it will have disco effect.
You are right as light bulb have light beam angle. i will need to choose the bulb with the light angle.
Will discuss more regarding this issue with my plaster ceiling contractor and light bulb supplier.
thanks sis.

Use this

Trigo Calculator

Key in this

Angle B = Downlight beam angle divide by 2 (if beam angle 110, then put 55)
Side a = Fan height from ceiling

You will get "Side b" which is the minimum gap from tip of the blade to the centre of the downlight.

Then you can size your fan.

Probably better to give extra 2-3" gap for "safety".

Paiseh if ask noob question. If I have downlight like this. How do I know the angle? Have to self measure?
