I am looking for a reliable fan to be used for a long period of time. Heard that Panasonic Bayu is recommended here? What about KDK and Alpha?

My Alpha ceiling fan is not responding when I want to change to speed 1, but the rest of the speed is fine. I wonder if this is the problem with the remote?
