Eugene, if you are picking up Mechanical or Mechatronics, to my experience, there is no need of purchasing the text book. The lecture notes will be sufficient for Solid Mechanics and Fluid Mechanics already, and hey, the lecturers are among the best in the department!
But if you are picking up any modules outside of the Mechaincal department, then I have no idea if you need those books or not.

cos i registered 3 days ago.. and the port isnt activated yet.. weird... wonder whats wrong.. have yet to go to pangkor to complain..

computer adapter no prob if can use fren's line lor..

guess its da port problem.. tmr gonna complain..

btw.. have u guys heard... the sns network wifi is just one month free... and a new system will be introduced.. and the rate will increase..

delighted with any outing organised by lowyat/ any organiser... my life is damn bored and upset particularly when weekend is coming.. try to make it on friday, sat or sun if possible.

i suggest someone to organise badminton/table tennis/swimming lowyat forumers@nottingham friendship match..

what do you mean by SNS wifi? i cannot even detect a single wifi signal(except DOTA) in kapas hall...
