I noticed it too, so I called them up. They said their TPM backbone is down, and they are hoping for it to get resolved by tonight.

I'm a bit worried about the bill though. I'm entering my third month and there's no sign of it.

Is it just me or is AMAX wobbly the last few days? Streaming radio keeps disconnecting and youtube is starting to buffer all the time. I have to reload Facebook a few times to be able to post a comment...

Nobody is facing this slowness for the past 24 hours? I notice download speeds are bursting in a yo-yo fashion. From 175KB/sec down to 10KB/sec, then up, then down, then stall...I have to force reload Facebook and LYN a couple of times...My Gtalk client logs on and off..this all started happening yesterday...

Anybody in Bandar Tun Razak / Sri permaisuri area using AMAX experiencing what I am experiencing?

Intermittent disconnection - download speeds yo-yoing up and down...my gtalk client keeps logging on and off, on and off...streaming radio buffers, youtube download stream comes to a halt momentarily before resuming, more slowly....website request timeouts...I'm finding it increasingly annoying...was not like this before...doing speedtest I can still get full speed, but if I do it during the time when it has this apparent disconnection, the speed reading drops quickly before displaying error.

Guys AMAX users, can someone please let me know if you are experiencing horrible speeds with AMAX lately, especially at night? My Speedtest keeps stalling and I have to force reload LYN a couple of times...

AMAX's been really bad this past week for me. Very, very slow browsing, high latency, and failed uploads. During speedtest, download yo-yos up and down very, very wildly, often ending up below 500kbps (I'm subscribed to their 1.5Mbps package); and upload...stuck...

woohoo...my AMAX is back to full speed. Faulty CPE apparently. The tech guy came the same day I complained. I like the fact how AMAX actually investigates without first asking me to restart my PC or disconnect the modem!

Yep, I confirm experiencing the same. An hour ago my speedtests all were below 500kbps! Now back to full speed...

AMAX down this morning...connected using DiGi GPRS....hiyoh every Friday Saturday always problem!

The 1300 number is already busye ven though not 8AM yet....

Quite consistent. I subscribe to the 1.5Mbps package and rarely get below 1.4Mbps. Not just local, overseas also. For now lah.

Eh got lah....be patient a bit because I notice the coverage shade loads much later...

ACtually, I already have an existing account with AMAX. I have not much to complain about it. I gave it to my brother when I switched to DiGi early last month. Regretted that move. So now I need another AMAX connection for myself.
