QUOTE(DFlo @ Dec 6 2008, 01:45 PM) Demilitarized Zone. There should be a setting in your router which adds specific machines, of your choice, to the DMZ. Sidenote: Which also means putting your PS3 into a zone without any single port being blocked by your router. In other words, your PS3 is virtually naked to the outside world.I suspect this is what ZalaDestiny is trying to tell you. |

I've been actively checking LYN broadband section for the past one week. Seems that P1 WiMax is launching a free 6 months trial for customers to evaluate their service.
In one thread, one forumer mentioned that P1 might be employing some sort of NATting in their routers in which it will cause some issues to PS3 connectivity (getting NAT Type 3). Have any of you guys tried to connect your PS3 to the internet via P1? Is it working fine? If so, how's the speed and stability? Good? QUOTE(vorchiel @ Dec 26 2008, 03:14 PM) if a virus can infect a ps3, then heaps of homebrew apps for ps3 must have been created by now I really don't know what people will gain by infecting other people's PS3 with viruses.virus = unsigned code (not technically correct, but you get the idea) Maybe utilize the Cell Broadband Processor, spawn millions of zombie processes and run a zombie network to attack a website?
